Dr.Hyams, this doctor is beyond phenomenal he is extremely thorough and he explains everything to you on what causes xyz, since Dr.Hyams became my doctor I've learned so much about my conditions that I didn't know I had due to previous faulty doctor's but Dr.Hyams narrowed it all down, there is nothing like having a thorough doctor like him.

Waited hours for a twenty minute meeting! Was more interested in my writing and offered the last name and number of a friend so she could help me. Sounded fishy because Dr. Hyams didn't know her first name, I threw the number out! Dr. Hyams tried giving me the number again, one year later. I got firm and said, "No!"

Very good doctor. He takes his time with me. He answers my questions. He explains my condition to my understanding. One fault...I can't get him on the phone most times.

I wasn't expecting to see Dr. Hyams, and this was my first time seeing him. This was in the Ambulatory Care Clinic, in a separate building from HSS (Medicaid clinic) I found Dr. Hyams very personable, knowledgeable and the visit went well. He was quite nice, listened and wrote me prescriptions for PT and Celebrex. I didn't have any X-rays done, nor had I the previous visit, so I wonder about that ... I was being seen in the knee clinic to address moderate to severe arthritis in my left knee.
