I would recommend Dr Horger to anyone .
Diagnosed with prostate cancer.Need surgery, He explained in detail about the surgery. Answerd all of my questions. And was compassionate and understanding the entire time .His staff all seem knowledgeable and caring. Overall he made a very unpleasant situation more understandable. I would recommend him to anyone. Surgery is in the near future. And anticipate the same professionalism that I have already experienced.

I took my dad to him for the 1st time today. He was rude and didn't appear to be concern with my dad's issue. Awful bedside manner. Will ask his primary doctor for a different referral. If I could give him a negative one, I would. His receptionist just scheduled my dad's follow-up appointment (which I will be canceling) without confirming if the date and time was convenient for my dad.

He was arrogant, pushy, and grew impatient with me several times. He undermined my pain levels and made ignorant comments regarding my tattoos, which he clearly judged me for having.

I have seen Dr. Horger for over 2 years now while he has treated my bladder cancer and find him to be perhaps the best, caring, compassionate and knowledgeable medical provider I have experienced within the McLeod Health system. I only wish others were like him.
