Dr. David Hiltzik, MD

I LOVE DR HILTZIK MD, A GREAT DOCTOR OF MEDICINE AND MEDICAL SCIENCE. HE HAS TREATED ME MANY TIMES WITH GREAT SUCCESS TO MY MEDICAL ISSUES. VERY KIND AND COMPASSIONATE ALSO VERY CARING. YOU FEEL LIKE A FAMILY MEMBER NOT A PATIENT GOD BLESS HIM - I HIGHLY RECOMMEND DR HILTZIK.

My sister was with Dr Hiltzik yesterday after suffering a very long time with extreme discomfort and deafness in her ear. She is so grateful for the ease, care and technique by Dr. H in helping her get so much relief immediately .

I had a Tubernate Reduction done by Dr Hiltzik. And I must say after doing so, I can finally breathe better and not wake up with a sore throat every morning. And to find out that he is a Director, that was the icing on the cake. I was rest assured going with this doctor to do this procedure knowing he was at the top of his profession. I highly recommend him.

He rushes (even his speech is rushed), jabs a sticks up your nose with no care or patience, sprays without any warning of possible reactions (this happened to me twice), projects images for literally a second with no explanation, ends a visit telling you his assistant will schedule you for surgery (trigger-happy) with no explanation of the procedure’s pros and cons or any worthwhile discussion. You have to ask and ask and ask. He has inadequate patient care. I found his impatience callous and would not recommend him at all.

Dr. Hiltzik conducted a thorough exam, explained my condition, answered my questions, and provided effective treatment. I am very satisfied.

Dr Hiltzik was able to assess my problem and fix my breathing issue. His staff was polite and professional. Most importantly to me they kept their appointments on time. Strongly recommend!

I cant recall how long I have been seeing Dr Hiltzik for my care but what I can recall is the quality of care, that he has always provided. He has great bedside matters, he respectful to truly listen to your concerns, and when you are truly in need such as I will be at times due to my allergies involving my hearing aids that interferes with my hearing, he puts you at ease. I highly recommend Dr Hiltzik... and I have, as I am right now. Tell him I said Hi!

After 9 months of surgery getting rescheduled ..I had surgery with doctor hiltzik today for polyp removal, septum surgery and tissue removal. He brings me into the operating room.. 2 hours later I wake up in recovery with surgery not being done Bc THEY DIDNT CHECK MY THROAT BEFORE TRYING TO PUT TUBES IN SO I CAN BREATHE. They found that the tissue inside my neck is swollen.Blood pressure dropped. I came out of the operating room with spots all over the outside of my neck. I have a health care proxy on file and they called NO ONE! not even my emergency contact. I came out of anesthesia obviously not able to fully comprehend much . And still really have no idea what happened to me.

Dr Hiltzik thrives on ignorant fools. He doesn’t properly examine his patients. He doesn’t scope his patients properly and thrives on unknowing laypersons thinking he actually checked them. He will do surgery on you or your child based on symptoms. Don’t believe this review? I strongly encourage going to another ENT for a second opinion and you will see how horrible Hiltzik is. This doctor has done surgery on children possibly for no reason because of unknowning parents thinking this guy knows what he’s doing. If he scopes your child in under 30 seconds he’s not seeing anything trust me go to another doctor.

Dr. Hiltzik performed a complete thyroidectomy on me, non cancerous issue, and damaged ALL of my parathyroids, which worked perfectly before surgery. Life has been hell since.

Dr. David is a great doctor. He is kind, informative and straightforward. He is working with me on a rare cancer and my feeling is that he really, really cares. 5-stars.

Have been there 2x. Always taken on time. Everyone is great. The Dr listens to you and you never feel rushed.I highly recommend Dr Hiltzik.

I underwent a total thyroidectomy (which was quite complex) and subsequent vocal cord surgery, both within the last 6 months. In my opinion, Dr. Hiltzik is a true miracle worker! I have not felt this healthy in years. He is not only a phenomenal surgeon but is compassionate and extremely patient. I never felt rushed or unheard at any of my many appointments. I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Hiltzik and I am forever greateful to him.

After waiting 3 months to get an appointment they called to reschedule for another 2 weeks. Got to office at our scheduled time and there was standing room only with patients visibly upset ad agitated. There was even a man cursing using 4 letter words because he was waiting so long. Ended up leaving after hearing it was an hour and a half wait. Staff was not friendly and looked miserable. Think I’ll find another doctor.

Dr Hiltzik is one of the most prominent ENT Physicians in his field and time. His knowledge base is endless and comes naturally . He articulates what needs to be communicated better then any lawyer . He won't steer you towards his pocket . Extremely honest . Regular family man that just so happened to become one of the elite physicians in The north eastern USA. If you can't trust this doctor you don't trust anyone. As far as his staff . In regards to his manhattan office .They are all tier 1

Words cant say how amazing my consultation and surgery w/Dr H went or how happy I am today. Im 37 and lived with enlarged tonsils, tonsillitis and a badly deviated septum all my life. I was super motivated to find a doctor that listened, saw and acted on facts. Dr H did that and booked my surgery that day. I expected the very worst in recovery but I was able to talk and eat hours after surgery! Today is Day 8 of recovery, had my nose splints out and I feel like a new person! Thank you Dr H!
