Dr. David Heath, DPM

I went in to the doctor because I was having heal pain. I saw Dr. Liliana Heath first. She spent less than 15 minutes with me (after being 45 minutes late), asked me what hurt and where and didn't do an xray or an ultrasound before diagnosing me with Plantar Fasciatis. She didn't prescribe anything (other than orthodic inserts and showed me 1 stretch) but told me to come back in 2 weeks for a steroid shot. During the followup visit, I met with Dr. David Heath who clearly hadn't looked at the file in advance and when I explained to him why I was there, he seemed surprised that we were going straight to the shot and instead prescribed me a steroid pack and an antiinflammatory and showed me another stretch. Neither one did an xray or ultrasound. Today I went to a new foot doctor since I moved up north and it still really hurts. He did an ultrasound and based on the results of that did an xray. I have a bone spur . . . .which I could have found out about and been treating a month ago.

Dr Heath is a wonderful understanding caring Doctor..He is the best in what he does, his staff is very professional I would highly recommend them to everyone!! Sincerely Sonia Sinclair

Quite unfortunate they even have the pleasure of receiving one star. Just left their office after waiting for over 40 minutes (I should also add that I drove over 30 minutes after leaving work 2 hours early). They waited till I showed up to “verify my insurance” to which they could not get confirmation that my share of cost has been met for the month, even though Medicaid has clearly processed and approved me for open Medicaid till the end of the month. Was admitted to Memorial Hospital due to an injury to my toe that occurred 7 weeks ago. Developed an infection which turned to gang green. Dr. Heath performed the surgery and had to remove the toe. He is a excellent Surgeon. Would recommend him to anyone.
