Won't be back
I saw Dr. Hayes for an annual physical and found him impersonal, unprofessional, awkward, and condescending. Terrible bedside manner and barely could make eye contact. I told him I have decided to get all caught up on routine vaccines since my parents chose not to vaccinate me as a child. I asked him a few questions, and he made backhanded comments about how unusual it was to encounter an adult with so little basic knowledge about vaccinations. I don't need to be shamed by my doctor for a decision my parents made that I am choosing to rectify now as an adult. Without knowing anything about my lifestyle or health status he recommended I go on a low carb diet (I'm an athlete— carbs=fuel). He gave me my physical but said "I think everything's good, hard to tell since there's so much fabric in the way." What?? I have high standards for my physicians and #1 on my list is being able to trust them. Definitely will be moving on.

I have been a patient for over ten years and have usually been treated well by this office. Today I was harassed and screamed at by a combination of nurses, and threatened with arrest by the office manager because I was too nauseous and delirious to follow a protocol. It was unhinged, irrational behavior, and the polar opposite of good patient care. All of the familiar office staff seemed to have been replaced recently, either with travel nurses or floaters, and they have zero concern for patient welfare. Dr. Hayes is a competent enough physician, but his office staff should be avoided at all costs.

I called the office regarding my medicine. The office was very kind to me. I told them about my meds, but found out I had misplaced some. Thanks so much for understanding. Great Dr. and staff.

Im the 4th stage cancer survivor that wrote a glowing review of my experience with Dr Hayes two years ago. I write again at age 71 to say again (after dozens more visit since the last review ) that Dr Hayes is , yes ! , a FANTASTIC doctor. I owe him my relative well being after cancer if not my life itself! I have a lot of health issues , collateral damage from so much radiation and chemo up at Mayo Clinic. I cant be “ fixed” but Dr Hayes does his level BEST to help me mitagate those problems!!

This man has horrible bedside manner. In my 2 visits, he has made me even more scared of conditions, and didn't propose proper treatment options. Make sure you have thick skin and can demand exactly what you want before you sign up with him.

Dr. Hayes takes the time to listen to you and discuss your treatment options. He's interested in treating the whole person, but knows when to refer you to a specialist.

I really like Dr. Hayes. He knows his stuff and is personable. I always feel like I can ask more than one question, like he's not keeping an eye on the stopwatch the whole time.

Very caring & firm in his beliefs as a Dr. Noticed he does not just hand-out meds just because someone thinks they need it. He explains the importance of not taking anti-biotics & etc when they are not needed. He was not @ all condenscending & makes you feel as though you matter He really wants to figure out what the problem & won't just hand you medicine to hide the problems.Thank you Dr Hayes for the knowledge you give us.
