Great surgeon!
Dr. Harwood handled my knee replacement and I couldn’t be happier. Everything worked out and he did a great job. He also did two of my husband’s knee replacement. My pain is manageable and my new knee feels great. The scar is not too bad compared to others. Thank you Dr. Harwood

Excellent Dr.
Dr. Harwood is very knowledgeable and takes the time to explain the exact procedures you will experience under his care. I am very satisfied with my interaction with him and also Diane French. I am very pleased with my choice of having Dr. Harwood care for me at UOA.

I have had 2 hip replacements with Dr. Harwood; one in 2016, the other in 2020. Both surgeries went well. Now, going on 6 years and 2 years respectively, my hips are functioning well, no pain, and I would highly recommend Dr. Harwood.

First diagnosed by Dr. Harwood in 2013 with osteoarthritis and told will need hip replacement. I put it off for about 8 years. Pain grew increasingly more severe over the years, had another consultation with Dr. Harwood in March 2020, both hips now would need to be replaced, decided to have the replacement, originally scheduled for April 2020, but because of Covid, elective surgeries were postponed. Ended up having double hip replacement June 2020. The night of the surgery was up walking with a walker and the next morning also, was released that afternoon. Used a walker and cane for a total of a week. No pain, slight tightness in the hamstrings but overall felt awesome. Been 7 months and feeling great, walking and bending with no pain. Wish I had done the replacement much sooner. Thank you Dr. Harwood

Worst attitude of any medical professional I have ever encountered. When faced with additional questions his response "I'm just the carpenter". He seemed to care more about his ego than his patient. I do not recommend him for any procedure.

Just had a replacement of the partial knee replacement Dr. Harwood did 18 months ago (with a different doctor who specializes in doing that). 15 months post-surgery, Dr. Harwood told me that there was nothing wrong and that I had a hard time with pain. After most recent surgery, new MD said the partial was a complete mess--not aligned and digging into the bone. He said it was a wonder I had been able to walk at all on it.
