Dr. Gayle and Nurse Sherry are amazing. My husband had a Defibrillator place in June and we can only say the nicest things about him, his nurse, and the care he received at Flowers Hospital. He explains procedures well and really talks with you, not at you.

Dr. Gayle is arrogant and dismissive. He appears annoyed if you ask a question. When he visits in the hospital you are lucky to get 30 seconds and whatever you do don't complain about anything because he's not going to listen and will make a sarcastic comment. He doesn't appear to like older adults.

Dr. Gayle is one of the few number excellent doctors left. He diagnosed a ventricular arrhythmia when no one else could. he has been my faithful cardiologist for 10+ years through multiple surgeries,my original icd and its replacement. He and his staff are absolutely outstanding. a side note is he makes sure you dont sit around in the waiting room forever like most dr's do yet he has never made me feel rushed during any of my appointments...ever I still dont know how he does it(a twin maybe..!!)

Ny dad was admitted to the hospital due to having a heart attack. Dr. Gayle entered his room, explained my dad’s situation to us. He was courteous and listened to my dad. Each time Dr. Gayle entered the room he was exceptional in patient care. Later, his office staff were very accommodating and respectful toward my dad and mom. Again, Dr. Gayle took time with my parents. Thank you for your compassion in a difficult profession where time is of great value to each individual and family you see. May God continue to bless you.

I was scheduled to take a stress test at M.C.E. I have never seen a cardiologist so I wasn't sure what to expect. The stress test was a breeze. Trying to get any health questions answered by this "doctor" was like pulling teeth. The only thing he would say was my test showed everything was fine. I wanted to know who to see for the chest pain and all he would tell me is to go see a regular doctor. Classic example of the run around. If you need a doctor that will listen to you don't see Dr. Gayle.

Dr. Gayle is great doctor; however the staff is another story. I can't comment on my aunt's follow up with Dr. Gayle because she never got a chance to see him. She is handicapped and on disability. She had an appointment at 2:30 and was in the parking lot at 2:31 and called to let them know she was on her way upstairs and the receptionist said it was too late and that Dr. Gayle could not see her because he had a meeting and would not be able to wait on her. Really? 1 minute !!!!!
