He kept telling me I needed surgery which has proven to be unnecessary. He tried to make a make money off of me , told me I would die, and had the nerve to tell me "Oh you're not dead yet" when saw me again. I wish I could rate 0 stars!!

Today I saw Dr. Gatof. What a terrible doctor. I have Celiac disease and I wanted to know the severity of a gluten attack when someone mistakenly eats gluten. He said he didn't know because he doesn't follow patients around to get that information. When I tried to tell him what I experience, he cut me off a few times and went on and on about that's not gluten and may not even be Celiac disease. So it then became evident that he didn't look into my past medical records. Blood test at Kaiser 5 years ago and 3 endoscopies by Dr. Chetham at G.I. of the Rockies. Celiac disease has been confirmed. Why he didn't do his homework is beyond me. I couldn't help but notice his greasy hair and I thought, if he doesn't look after himself, why would he care for his patients. And he doesn't care. He leads with his mouth and shows no sign of respect for me as his patient. He continuously talked over me and didn't give me a chance to describe my health concerns. What good is a doctor like that? I've nev

11/10, a star. I am generally very anxious around doctors. My appointment with Dr. Gatof was really nice-he was not rushed or dismissive. It was one of the first times I felt listened to. Dr. Gatof has a fun energy, a genuine patience, and a LOT of knowledge. His advice and diagnosis are very thorough. Thank you to Dr. Gatof. (:

Dr. Gatof and his staff were professional, took thorough notes, and had their clinic running in an efficient and professional way. He ordered a prudent exam that took my family's risk factors seriously, and caught some issues early. The office seemed busy, but they were coping with their patient list efficiently and safely. The nurses and younger trainees were professional and supervised according to their career level. My procedure went smoothly with no complications, and the labs ordered were within recommended guidelines. I appreciated that they had a demographically diverse team. There was a wait, but anyone complaining needs to understand that surgeons are probably booked solid with higher risk cases, and direct extra questions to their support staff. I felt like the intake staff did an excellent job preparing my file. I appreciated their follow up call the next day.

I'm disabled, so I need a physician who is a good listener! He is. . . He mapped out a plan very quickly. Because of his patience with me, his knowledge and manner, I felt so relieved after leaving his office. I liked his staff, too. I had to wait 3.5 weeks for my first appointment; and then two months (I'm still waiting) and 2 days to have my first proceedure done. However, I've researched Dr. Gatob, and I want him for my gastroenterologist, so I wait. Good docs are usually booked way out. That's the way medicine is these days. Since I moved to CO ten years ago, it has been very clear to me that gastroenterologist are in short supply, in Denver, CO and the metro area.

Dr Gatof is great! BUT FORGET EVER being able to get an appointment for another visit...even if he said, and even if you're sick! We're now booked 21/2 months out and that's as far as the book goes; we can put you on a list to call when that opens...it's about a pagelong...yes we have a wait list for cancellations but you have to have an appointment to be on that...yes he's still taking new patients (me: why if he can't serve the ones he has?); he's in business; this is a business" I KID YOU

Dr. Gatof has always made me feel like eliminating my pain and getting my Crohn’s disease into remission were his top priorities. He listened to my symptoms, at our appointments, and mapped out a detailed treatment plan that led to my Crohn’s disease going into remission! Even in remission, Dr. Gatof takes my health seriously and makes sure he is doing all he can to keep me on the healthiest path for as long as possible. I highly recommend Dr. Gatof to anyone suffering from Crohn’s disease.

I have been astounded that I called Dr Gatoff repeatedly from the ER and never heard back. You try being nauseous for DAYS and not get an answer from a Doctor you thought you could count on. So they were not happy with me that I was upset and anxious about my care. Maybe if your office had called me back we might have avoided all this. But you chose to instead of trying to help, to basically blow me off. So I will NOT be recommending your office, your staff and especially your office manager

Dr. Gatof is, in our opinion, a "hero doctor". He made a quick, accurate diagnosis of my husband's illness when he was in the hospital, and he consequently set us upon a path for recovery far more rapidly than could have occurred. His after care was equally excellent. We shall always thank him.
