A difficult review to write... Dr. Garcia had the best bedside manner 10 years ago, and it made up for a lot of the 'other' things like ridiculous wait times, incompetent billing and staff, etc. I've seen him off/on since. Office location has improved but the office staff is still either rude, disinterested, incompetent or all 3. Wait times in the past were horrendous EVERY time, last 2 visits I wisely asked for first appt of day & it was only 10-15 min but wait times still appear to be an issue later in the day. Dr. Garcia himself seems less interested in giving options, more distracted. Simple things like prescriptions are often somehow not sent in, and getting it resolved should be easy but requires days of calls and waiting. Sadly at the point where I'll be looking for a new Dr. to see if I find a better overall experience and better fit for me personally after once again experiencing rude front office on phone.

Dr. Garcia is a typical doctor, nothing special. Wait times are terrible (2 hours late once, with no apology made). His staff has little to no follow through. The office manager, Sebastian, never apologized (took ownership) for the lack of follow-through on their part. Read the other reviews - I'm not the only one who feels this way about his staff. And, on another site, someone alleges (we don't know if it's true, of course) that Dr. Garcia botched a surgery and didn't take ownership (hmm...sounds like a theme in his practice). Obviously, proceed with caution!

Be very careful with the labs Dr. Garcia requests. It may seem as if he is ordering a test to confirm or rule out a diagnosis, but that may not be the case. It seems as if he gets kick backs from the labs for ordering various tests, even if they are unnecessary to patient health. The Office Manager has zero regard for patient respect. I left 5 messages requesting that he call me to discuss why Dr. Garcia ordered a lab if it was not medically necessary but he never called me back. I was eventually told by a gentleman who answered the phone that if the OM “hasn’t called me back by now, he probably isn’t going to”.... what the heck kind of common courtesy is that?!

Dr Garcia has been our gastroenterologist for several years. He is one of the best doctors we have ever encountered. He has a wonderful bedside manner, is kind, and takes his time with patients. Both my husband and I appreciate how he explains everything to us and is always happy to answer our questions; and does it in a way that is easy to understand. He is also brilliant and truly cares about his patients. We feel extremely fortunate to have found him.

Some of these reviews have given me a reason to not trust everything I read. Dr Garcia's staff could not have been more pleasant during my appt. Martha is probably one of the nicer office personal that I have delt with in attending various dr appts. Dr. Garcia himself was very nice and took his time with me to explain everything for my procedure and his followup visit was just as curtious. I felt very confident going into this procedure and had confidence in knowing he was an excellent dr
