Dr. David Fraulino, MD

Dr. Fraulino is a wonderful Infectious Disease doctor. He was incredibly thorough and clearly reviewed my medical chart prior to my appointment, which I do not see happen very often. He had great bedside manner and made me feel very comfortable right from the start. UConn is lucky to have him and I fully recommend his care.

In case it matters he’s a DO not an MD. Regardless of degrees his bedside manner or attentiveness were non existent. He did no physical exam and based any assessment in reading (probably skimming) previous notes from other doctors. He said he’d show my scan to a radiologist and either never did or never followed up. He did not care at all, didn’t listen, didn’t even do any physical examination even when I tried to point things out to him, and he looked at his watch the whole time in a very obvious way. It was clear he was half listening/didn’t want to be there. I got the feeling and even asked if he planned to stay at uconn and his answer sort of suggested he already had one foot out the door so maybe it wasn’t entirely personal at least
