Worst
My primary care physician retired and MDVIP automatically assigned Dr Fisher as the replacement!Staff was not friendly.Dr did not listen well to what I was saying.Ordered labwork before discussing with me.Held my prescription refills hostage until I came in for another office visit. Prescriptions that I had taken for years.I was hoping to like this guy but was so disappointed.

Callous and Uncaring
After being my spouse's doctor for many years, my spouse reached out (via MyChart message) to get refills on 2 needed medications, 1 of which was his anti-depressant. My spouse's dad had just died, so now was NOT the time for him to not have this medication. I was unaware that he was having trouble getting med refill and encouraged him to CALL the office. We learned that Dr. Fisher **had seen and ignored** the MyChart message. After 9 days of waiting (spouse was grieving too badly to handle following up until I got involved), staff at office helped him get his meds refilled, but Dr. Fisher wasn't involved -- it was handled by an LPN. Someone so uncaring and callous shouldn't be in medicine. (Note: I saw Dr. Fisher 1 time when I had an urgent need and couldn't get in with my doctor, also at the same practice. I didn't like him from the moment he walked into the room, which was 55 minutes past my scheduled appt time.) Horrible doctor!

Diligent, personable and extremely caring.
Recently we had an emergency surgery scheduled for the next day. Dr. Fisher did everything in his power to make sure we could keep on the surgery schedule. Very kind and caring, explained thoroughly any of our questions.

Dr. David Fisher has been my PCP for 6 years now. Both he and his staff have coordinated to provide excellent care for me. Dr. Fisher quickly reviews my medical history on screen at the start of my visits, and he adds notes to my file as we discuss ongoing and new issues. I like that style. He uses that screen time to consider my overall health, make adjustments as needed, and develop quality recommendations for me. He is focused and sharp. Getting to know him over the years I am amazed at his wealth of knowledge and experience, plus his personal concern for, and dedication to, my well-being.

Staff is rude and unprofessional. Office manager is vulgar and vindictive. The physician is aloof and arrogant. I called to have a prescription refilled and asked the front desk operator to ask the Dr. to tell her what prescription I was referring to. Even though I submitted to all of the Dr.'s numerous and seemingly unrelated lab tests, I was instructed to come in again for the medicine he prescribed for my condition. Because I inconvenienced the immature woman at the front desk, they cut me out of their patient roster, sent me a form to get my medical records, and instructed me to find a new doctor. Health care? More like no care.

I am new to the area and received a recommendation to Dr. Fisher from a co-worker who was also his patient. What a wonderful experience! From scheduling to billing, I've had no problems. Dr. Fisher spent appropriate time and has been very responsive to follow-up questions. Highly recommend him to anyone. My wife is now his patient.

My personal physician retired and I was moved over to Dr.Fisher. When I called to get my HB med re-filled he would not until I came into his office for a visit -so because of his arrogance, I was without medicine for 3 weeks. He does not listen, he does not apologize, you are not a customer in his view, you are file. He never asked about anything personal - the reality is if he would have just made a simple apology he might have even retained my business..maybe..but instead I am leaving.

I was in the process of interviewing Dr. Fisher to be my new PCP. I spent 5 minutes with him, and I got up & walked out of the appointment. HE WAS NOT LISTENING!!! He spent most of the 5 minutes staring at the computer screen. As a Dr. when you ask a patient what their concerns are & what has worked for them, be prepared to listen. I needed him to learn about who I am, what my issues are, & review what other Dr's are diagnosing, help decipher & create a plan for me. HE IS NOT THE DR. Very rude!

Disgusted with his lack of caring, presumptiveness in Hyde Park, Ohio – Sep 29, 2016
×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Fisher?
Extremely Arrogant Physician. Dr. Campbell in this office has been prescribing Concerta for me for 12+ years but he recently retired and I was moved to Fisher. When I explained the law in California not allowing out of state Concerta prescriptions he said he used to practice in San Francisco and this was not true. If he took the time to read California's Health and Safety Code section 11150 he would see that it is true. Said my story didn't add up and basically accused me drug seeking.
