1997 Success
Dr, Duke performed open heart surgery in Nov of 1997 and placed a washer around my mitrial valve to reduce backflow. 26 years later, I am still alive and enjoying retirement due to his skills. Thank you Dr. Duke!

Dr. Duke performed what was claimed to have been a quadruple bypass and aortic valve replacement on me in March, 2015. The team had to re-enter my chest that evening and seal several bleeding areas. I subsequently had severe pulmonary edema and other complications. On examination by other cardiac physicians, I was told that the surgery was unnecessary and that stenting (which I later required anyway) and trans catheter valve replacement would have solved my problems. Horrible experience!
