Dr. David Drew, MD

Aside from providing the highest level of care, Dr. Drew has a fantastic bedside manner. He is remarkably thorough and provides his patients with direct contact. If I could I would give him 10 stars!

Dr. Drew is a true professional. He is straight forward and explains every detail of your diagnosis and how to move forward. I am blessed to have him as my Hematologist and feel so much more comfortable knowing he will be treating me with my CLL.

I have never felt so much condescension from a doctor. Instead of saying 'I don't know', Dr. Drew expressed a complete lack of faith in our history of contacting our insurance and other doctors. He wanted nothing to do with us, and instead of showing any sign of respect, proceeded to discredit symptoms and suggest we have a 'software problem'. Please avoid him, if possible.

Dr. Drew takes time with his patients, is very knowledgeable and takes time to explain diagnosis, treatment plan and answer your questions. He gives his phone number out and will call you back each time - even at 7:30 at night, he's still working. He was able to diagnose a rare blood disorder that hadn't been diagnosed in over 20 years...thank you Dr. Drew! He studies your patient file, looking to make sure all avenues are covered and if anything else may be needed to test/review and make a decision on.

Dr David Drew is an amazing Dr of Oncology. Dr Drew goes so far and above the norm to ensure your symptoms and illness are taken care of. He listens to you and he makes himself available to you despite how busy he is. As a patient you feel heard and cared for. I had complex health issues and saw three specialist. Dr Drew was the fourth Dr that took the time to listen and try different things until I was cured. The other Drs gave up and this is what separates Dr Drew from the norm. I knew Dr Drew and his team were extraordinary as he had been my mother’s Dr previously and she had the same incredible experience. Dr Drew is brilliant and cares!

All around his practice is wonderful.

Yes, I would recommend Dr. Drew to all. He is an awesome doctor & professional man. He is very caring, comforting, and makes you feel like you really matter and that he cares about you. His care is of the finest anywhere. I owe him a tremendous debt!

Dr. Drew is the kindest and most knowledgeable Oncologist that I was blessed to have chosen him. He explained my stage 3 Lymphoma Cancer in such an amazing way to fully understand what I was going to go through. He answers every question, he is very patient, I never felt rushed at all. I would highly recommend Dr. Drew to anyone going through Cancer. The office staff is very friendly, loving and caring. One in particular is Maggie who works with Dr. Drew. I would not change anything about what I went through with them. I would give Dr. Drew 10 plus stars if I could!

Dr. Drew is truly an exceptional doctor and individual. He is extremely smart, well prepared, compassionate, and he has a great wit about him. Dr. Drew diagnosed me with aggressive Diffuse large B Cell Non Hodgkin Lymphoma in July 2019 and I was in the hospital within 5 hours. I had my first round of chemotherapy within 24 hours of my diagnosis. Dr Drew is no nonsense and gets after it. He is available to consult and even calls me at home after hours to check up on me. His assistant, Maggie, is wonderful too.

Dr. Drew is exceptional in every way. He is not only an incredibly intelligent doctor, but he is also one of the kindest and most compassionate individuals I have ever had the privilege to know. He 100% of the time returns phone calls promptly and never leaves you hanging. He treats both my mother and father and he has been a blessing. Lastly, his staff is equally kind hearted and caring...especially Maggie, his nurse. They answer the phone when you call, and they consistently go the extra mile to ensure patients are cared for and family members are kept informed and educated.

Dr. Drew is thorough, knowledgeable, patient and caring, all characteristics you look for and require when selecting your oncologist. I highly recommend him.

Not a very good experience at all. First, after waiting for more than an hour to see him, he entered and never even said hello. Just moved right into a discussion about "treatment and timing". When he discussed treatment everything that he said was counter to every other Hematologist that I have seen ( I moved to S Florida 10 months ago). When I asked him why he would change his response was "because that won't work" even though it worked VERY well in the past. Very poor experience!!!

Dr. Drew is thorough, professional, attentive, human, able to explain what is going on and what we are going to do about it in the clearest terms. He has a sense of humor that is quirky and appropriate. Can he leap tall buildings in a single bound? Maybe.

I was recommended to Dr. Drew by my primary care physician. I was impressed by his bedside manor. He is very warm ,friendly, reassuring and is a good listener. After providing my background he came up with a solid plan and I am now back on track. The office staff is very nice and the wait time is not very long. I would highly recommend Dr. Drew.

I was referred to Dr Drew 6 years ago by a circulatory specialist after having a blood clot in my leg, which fortunately dissolved itself. Dr Drew was very professional and answered all my questions very clearly and showed great compassion. I have been his patient for the last 6 years for monitoring my blood for different issues and I am pleased to say he has brought my blood levels into the normal range over this period of time. I would highly recommend him. He is an excellent physician.
