Office Staff is awful
There is a particular person who works in that office and has been there for a very long time. She is rude and extremely unprofessional I contacted the doctor and spoke to him directly about it, but apparently nothing has changed if this doctor of a hospital group they would never allow her to speak to patient the way she does. We had to find another neurologist.

Money Grab
Dr. Dickoff's practice is a money grab, nothing more. Don't waste your time. Find another Dr. Unless you like waiting 5 hours for a 10 minute session that often has no substantial substance at all.

Office Manners - Non-existant
Office is nice and comfortable, very spacious and well kept. Dr. Dickoff has nice bed manner and easy to get along with; however, this is where the customer service ends. The doctor's office staff, particularly who answers the phones, could benefit from additional people skills training as they are curt and inflammatory with their so-called help. Will not visit this office again because of it, there are too many options where I will be treated as a paying customer should.

I hate to have to wait for my appointment with him, but I like that he affords me the necessary time for me and not making me feel rushed while in his office. He is quite thorough, a dry sense of humor that takes the edge off the severity of my condition. takes time to interview me, noting any changes between visits and adjusting my meds as needed. he will get back to me when available to answer questions or concerns I may have.

Dr. Dickoff has no respect for patient's time. 3-4 hour wait for a scheduled appointment is unacceptable, and this is a normal occurence. The staff is beyond rude. When I asked how there could be such a long wait ahead I'm told "because he spends time with his patients". I then replied that he should not be booking every 15 min. I was told by the staff that I am more than welcome to discuss it directly with him. I could pretty much guarantee they would not wait that long in a waiting room.

This office is aware that the Dr takes way longer than their allotted time with appointments and doesn’t seem to mind inconveniencing every single one of his patients by not holding true to his schedule. If you are aware you take more time than schedule accordingly and don’t waste people’s time.

Horrible scheduling. We had a five-hour wait for a 3:00 p.m. appointment only because my husband needed a refill on his Parkinson's medication.

Dr. Dickoff is the BEST neurologist! His unsurpassed expertise in his field, paired with his genuine compassion for me as a patient was an experience which changed my life. I suffered for several months being misdiagnosed and under-diagnosed until I found Dr. Dickoff. During each visit he spends quality time asking relevant questions, listening, analyzing, and planning. He is attentive. This is a quality that many physicians do not possess. In today's healthcare setting the patient is often view

My elderly mother had stroke in 2013 and was admitted to St. John's . Dr Dickoff was neurologist.I asked for her to be given the shot stroke victims get within 3 hours to reverse damages.I had to have an ER Doctor call him on the phone as he wasn't at hospital. He was adamant that my mother was too old and never gave more info. She had a miserable death a month later. I feel guilty I wasn't more forceful re shot but he was quite stubborn about his decision. He was strangely detached and arrogant
