My mom's doctor is the best!!!
I went with my mom to the doctor and saw first hand how thoughtful, kind, and thorough he was. He took time to ask questions and spent more time with us than any doctor I have ever been to. Even if the wait in waiting room was a little longer than we hoped, his attention and one on one time with us makes it 100% worth it

Doc has been spot on with my medical care, diagnosis, treatment plan, his referral work, etc. I have nothing but good things to say about him. I go to the doc with my own plan in mind and talk to him about my thoughts and what my own personal plan is. No matter what Doctor you go to if you want positive results you have to make your plan prior to going to an appointment (do your own research). You have to take some personal responsibility if your visits aren't to your liking or follow-on actions. I've seen some reviews about "strep" cases. 1st words after "Hi Doc" should be: "I think i have strep, I want a test"! Help the Doc's to help you!

Dr Deleon actually listens to your concerns. He runs tests. He gets referrals done. He truly seems to care and want to help. He is not judgmental. He has a good demeanor and good sense of humor. I’ve never felt so comfortable with a doctor as I have with Dr. Deleon.

If you're on a medication that you depend on, and you've been on it for a long time and told it "was safe" and you're at a point where weaning off is harder than just taking it, stay on it. The doctors don't take responsibility for keeping you on it for years, so they can avoid you when you want off. If you struggle with lower doses, save what you can in case you lose them. You will be ignored and left to suffer possibly die. They will lie and tell you that laws stop them from helping, this is not true. I tried to tell the nurse that the pharmacy had already told me the law, but she spoke over me before I could tell her that, I wasn't asking for meds, I was just asking for 5 min of his time, for help. Doc is on vacation all of Dec, some of Jan, all of March, some of April, half of summer and a couple of weeks in the fall, so bi-monthly appts are unlikely. I was always honest with my doc. I chose to lower my med dose, things got tough and he cut and ran. Docs can't relate with patients

Accompanied my mother to be seen for severe sore throat. Given an antibiotic, without strep test. Return visit as throat was worse on antibiotics. Finished antibiotics, and not well, returned for 3rd visit. Tested for strep--negative. "Must be a virus." Asked for referral to ENT. Still waiting for help. After doing our own research over this holiday weekend, it's apparent my mother has adult, oral thrush and DeLeon never suspected or even came close to diagnosing it. Lack of attention for my 81yr old mother. She deserved compassionate care. She did not receive it. Shame on you-- stop talking and listen to your patients!

Took my daughter to see him a few months ago and told the doctor she had either strep or the flu. Dr. Deleon looked at her and said it was just a cold. He didn't run any kind of tests for strep or flu. Toward the end of the visit he just walked out the door and didn't say anything else to us. I walked out because I thought we were supposed to leave and overheard him tell the nurse that "mom just wanted medicine for the kid." Next day took her to urgent care and she tested positive for strep.

Dr. DeLeon has been my doc for the past 4 years and I've never had a bad experience. He's prompt with appointment times, sits down and listens, and responds to MyChart quickly. I really appreciate his expertise as well as the human aspect of how he treats his patients. I've always felt very supported and well cared for.

Not very good with elderly patients, while treating my parents who are both deceased now, it seemed to me that he basically gave up on them. I believe a doctor should do everything that he can for his patient. No matter what their age is. Doctor Deleon in my opinion didn't do this for my parents.
