Dr. David Croasdale, MD

We are all so fortunate to have this Surgeon here in NH. Later, during the almost 4 week stay, I asked him why he chose to practice in NH. Because these are his roots and he wants to give back to his community. Wow! I am embarrassed to say when my relative was diagnosed with ruptured small bowel, our first reaction was to tell Dr Croasdale we wanted to go to Concord NH. All I can say is my relative decided to stay at Concord Hospital, Laconia. (Divine inspiration?) Dr C is a talented, smart, compassionate physician with a true “gift”. A complicated, life-saving surgery, performed by Dr C made all the difference. I soon found out he has the respect of staff and patients. (My neighbor texted me during “the decision”, having no idea that there might be any need for a surgeon. Out of the clear blue she highly recommended Dr. C if a surgeon was required!). This excellent surgeon is changing the culture of health care in NH one patient at a time!

He's very patient and explains everything to you. He's one of the best doctors I've ever had and he also has my husband as a patient. If you want a good experience for surgery related he's the best you can to too! He will improve you as best to his abilities! Thank you Dr Crosdale for everything

I am 42 and went to the ER with belly pain. After a CT scan it was discovered I could have colon cancer. I met with Dr. Croasdale shortly after hearing I could have cancer. He was very informative and concerned. He admitted me and 2 days later I had surgery removing my tumor. He came to see me bedside three times a day for a couple days post surgery. Was always professional and informative. Talking to myself and my family about everything. Since surgery he has been there for me many times answering questions I have had about chemotherapy and other issues. I feel unbelievably lucky he was on call the day I went to the hospital. He is my life savior in more ways then one!

Went with my husband to his appointments for a colonoscopy-endoscopy and subsequent follow-ups. I found Dr. Croasdale to be thorough, respectful, kind, and took the time to answer our questions. There were a couple of minor details he didn't remember correctly but then was very apologetic for not arriving to the appointment with those top of mind. I would likely choose him for my own colonoscopy in the future. I noticed just now he had only 1 review on this site and with 1 star so wanted to provide a review of our positive experience to balance that out!

I had an incidental finding on a CT scan that Dr Croasdale ordered, indicating a high possiblility of cancer. While waiting to see a specialist in another field, I asked for his guideance via patient portal. He called me, said there was nothing more he could do for me and he had already spent a 'lot' of time on me. I found his demenor to be rude and cold. I had sent two messages. I'm not a demanding person. I had been in the medical management field my entire career. I am a professional. I have only been treated badly twice by a physician in my lifetime. Both times were in the Lakes Region.
