Dr. Cotter has done a wonderful job.
I was referred to Dr. David Cotter from within the Las Vegas Dermatology practice for a patch test to find chemicals causing allergic reactions in my skin. Dr. Cotter did a wonderful job of explaining the process and the results, including the limitations of the results. He also provided me with access to a website that he had set up for me that listed common toiletries and household products that did not include the materials that I had reacted to in the patch test. Dr. Cotter also administered my first dupilumab injection and followed my progress with the dupilumab and with my overall progress in dealing with my skin issues, which had been severe. Bottom line: My skin is almost entirely clear—the best it has been in years. Dr. Cotter is impressively credentialed, with a Ph.D. in molecular and cell biology in addition to his M.D. degree and board certification in dermatology. I recommend Dr. Cotter and Las Vegas Dermatology most highly.

Disappointing
My daughter has been Dr. Cotter’s patient for some time — until today. His pronounced irritation and arrogance are disappointing. As it turns out, Dr. Cotter perceives patient’s comments (about repeated and unreasonably long wait in the waiting room), or concerns (about the side effects of a medication, for instance) as a personal insult and therefore automatically resorts to insulting the patient or deliberately making him/her uncomfortable. It is quite sad to witness the ego getting the best of your doctor.

I first started seeing Dr. Cotter because I needed help with my chronic acne. During my visit, Dr. Cotter put me at ease, he took his time with me, and answered all of my questions. He prescribed me a skincare routine that has completely cleared my acne and helped me get my confidence back! I now even frequently get complements on how great my skin looks! Dr. Cotter is a true gem!
