Quality physician
Excellent. Dr. Ciresi is a physician who takes the time to explain the details of the surgeries he will be doing. His skills include helping the patient understand exactly what to expect prior to surgery. My husband and I felt at ease as he explained the process. Dr. Ciresi was not rushed during our visit with him. He encouraged discussing any questions we had and outlined in diagrams and drawings what the operation entailed. Once I arrived for the surgery, I felt relaxed and prepared for the process. I am happy with the outcome. The healing process is in place and is as he expected it to be. Mayo is fortunate to have him on board.

Expertise
Prior to surgery Dr. Ciresi explained in a clear precise manner. Communication used visual and verbal methods to explain the situation. This was a surgery where 30% are successfully completed - I am one of those successes.

You put my wife in a lot of pain. You are no good
You took out my wife’s gallbladder and left stones in her. Now it’s stuck to her liver. All u had to do is your job. 31 years and you can’t even do your job right. Now we are in lacrosse to get out the stones. She’s been in pain almost a week. Shooting pains every hour. She has to be drugged till she passes out. Hopefully she will be good and my baby.

Dr. Ciresi did an excellent job of performing surgery on our son and also went the extra mile to get us connected to follow up care that he needed. Very good at explaining what would happen and answering everyone's questions. We couldn't ask for a better surgeon!!
