Dr. Buyer has helped myself and my mate. When my mate suffered a stroke Dr. Buyer came to the hospital on his day off. He shows a lot of compassion towards his patients. He is very knowledgeable in his field. He doesn't rush you out of the office, he takes the time to explain things. He is a great doctor and am glad he is my doctor.

Closed minded with confirmation bias
Arrived 15 minutes early, and was admitted to the doctor's office about 1.5 hours later. This was my first visit. He started looking at my chart and saw that I was not on any medications or spent much time seeing doctors and immediately made all kinds of assumptions. He spoke down to me, ignored my concerns, and was rude and abrupt. Maybe he was having a bad day, I don't know, but I won't be going back to find out.

Rude
Burst into room talking quickly and loudly to my father who has dementia. My father tried to introduce us, mother and I, but doctor ignored us and talked even louder to my father. Poor dad looked at me and said, 'what is going on?' Mr. Buyer may be a capable doctor, but there are other choices in Sussex County.

Excellent cardiologist. He performed a TEE (trans esophageal echocardiogram) as well as a cardiac catheterization and diagnosed my heart problem, resulting in open heart surgery. He spoke with the heart surgeons at Morristown Medical Center about my condition and I had the surgery with a successful outcome. Recommend Dr. Buyer highly and still see him for checkups twice a year.
