Every day I am reminded of his incompetence as I suffer with foot pain after he damaged my foot during what I call a botched surgery. It wouldn’t stop my pain but I wish I had sued him.

I started with his uncle for my foot care ( a few dozen years ago) and when he retired, I found a wonderful and caring doctor with Dr David Buchan. He puts you at ease before a procedure and the after care is excellent.

Dr Buchan is an wonderful Doctor! He has performed a surgery on both of my feet. Both surgeries went well, I had minimal pain and a smooth recovery. His staff was efficient and made the process easy. Dr Buchan is a kind soul and a skilled doctor. I would recommend him to anyone looking to be pain free.

would not recommend based on my recent experience. Instead of trimming my ingrown toe nail,he told me to get a "good pedicure" Since the discomfort continued after seeing him I went to salon and had a pedicure . The technician did what she could but since she is not a licensed podiatrist she was limited He could have done what she did but did not. When he looked at my nail he said I am not doing any thing to that nail. And I had to pay for that? No more appts w him

Dr. Buchan performed an experimental surgery on both my feet to replace cartilage between the bones of my big toes. Both surgeries were relatively easy, initial recuperation times not lengthy, with minimal pain. Although it took a full year to heal completely, without Dr. Buchan's skills I do not believe I would have experienced the success I have had. Dr. Buchan was recommended to me and I will recommend him to others in return .

I have been a patient of Dr. Buchan's for 13 years and he had seen me through 2 successful bunion/hammertoe surgeries, the most recent one allowing me to do a lot of walking while travelling in a month or so. He is a superb physician and person and his Clinical Lead Ruth has been very helpful. I have nothing but high praise.

I had foot surgery in Feb. 2016 for hammer toe. When I woke up I had a bunion removed screw in the big toe joint and two toes with pins. I wasn’t aware had a bunion. So now just over two years the pain is worse than before surgery, big toe is numb and doesn’t bend, toe is more crooked than before surgery and when I walk something clicks each step. Pain after surgery was unbearable. Never again! I was afraid to go back thinking they may try to correct the mess.

I had bunion surgery 2 months ago. Dr. Buchan and his nurse Ruth were wonderful from the start. They are both caring and very helpful. Don't mind questions and both take their time answering them. Dr. Buchan was referred to me by a co-worker. I am a very active person and was concerned about having a procedure on my foot. Dr. Buchan's positive outlook on fixing the bunion was a great comfort. He did a wonderful job and I am so happy with the outcome I have scheduled to have my other foot done.

I had a terrible experience with Dr. Buchan. I suffer foot pain constantly to remind me of his incompetence and lack of caring. He made my foot worse. Follow up appointments were pointless, as he would simply tell me that my X-ray looked great right after I told him how my foot was not working properly and in pain. His staff simply ran interference, including refusal to loan me my X-rays to show another surgeon for a 2nd opinion. I went back for every follow up and he offered nothing to help.

I had surgery for a bunion 5 years ago. The bunion returned which as I understand happens on occasion. When I attempted to go back for another evaluation, I encountered a clerical staff which could not find my previous records and put me in the "new patient" category with all the resulting paperwork. They were arrogant, rude, and have no respect for other people's time. After 45 minutes, I left the office without seeing any medical person, I will not go back

I have been a patient of Dr Dave for 15 years. He has a great bed side manor, and explains everything thoroughly to his patients. You never feel rushed with him he treats you like he is your friend. His nurse Ruth is wonderful! I have referred many patients to Dr Dave and they have not been disappointed.

Went out of his way to explain everything, answer questions, and make me comfortable. Came across as friendly, caring, respectful, and professional. Went over several different options for treatment and explained his recommendations to me. Performed recommended procedure on the spot so that I didnt have to make a return visit. Took the time needed to answer questions and did not act as if he was in a rush.
