Dr. David Brown, DO

I have nothing but good things to say about Dr Brown. He has helped me understand the most likely root causes of a lot of my various mental health battles. I finally feel in control of my anxiety through our therapy appointments and the medication he has prescribed.

This young doctor does not make psychiatric recommendations based on the unique needs of each patient, but rather is actively recommending treatments that he wants to gain more professional experience in prescribing/managing irregardless of the patient’s needs. As a result, he does not follow a reasonable treatment progression plan, but skips over 1st or 2nd line treatments and prescribes “last resort” treatments as the initial and primary avenue of care. My experience with Dr. Brown has left me with a deep dis-trust of psychiatrists and terror of the destruction they can do to a patient’s life when they are as unethical as Dr. Brown. I saw Dr. Brown for 3 appointments, and his only recommendation was a monthly ECT treatment (ECT is a procedure in which you are put under general anesthetist and your brain is electrocuted until you have a Grand Mal Seizure – it is a last line treatment for suicidaly depressed patients).
