Helped When No-One Else Would
I had been experiencing severe dizziness and blackouts upon standing up, which was quite concerning. Despite a previous visit to a cardiologist, I didn't receive a satisfactory diagnosis or treatment plan. However, after consulting with Dr. Brown, I felt heard and understood. He conducted the necessary tests and correctly diagnosed me with POTs. Dr. Brown has been transparent about my treatment options, allowing me to make informed decisions about my health. While he may not be the most talkative, his expertise and approachability have made a significant difference in my experience.

Outstanding Dr. Brown as Neurologist
Dr. Brown is an excellent, outstanding neurologist. Erika and his staff are the best. The office is georgous, staff members are very attentive, and professional. Dr. Brown goes above and beyond in caring for his patients and is truly compassionate. The longevity I have experienced with Dr. Brown is outstanding. I highly recommend Dr. Brown.

Doctor Brown is very knowledgeable, yet he is able to simplify his explanations so that you fully understand. I had seen a lot of Doctors prior with no diagnosis, lack of compassion, and a quick referral to someone else. Finally, I was referred to Doctor Brown. He was through, ordered tests quickly, and eventually came to a diagnosis in less than 2 months (average 5 yr diagnosis for my condition) Thanks to Doctor Brown I got my life back and realized I am not crazy. I am forever grateful to him!

Dr. Brown was by far the wors doctor I've ever seen. After a 30 minute consultation with an amazing nurse he came in. He sat down and said there was nothing he could do to help me and walked out of the room.

In 2017 I destroyed my left ankle, 2 years prior my back was broken, with no memory of either accident. I had experienced bouts of seizures, dizziness/balance issues and sever migraine headaches for about three years. Three other Neurologist failed to determine the cause of my problems. I was desperate to find a doctor who could adequately treat me. Dr. David Brown saved my life! I was still in a cast during my first appointment when he scheduled tests that confirmed his suspicion MS.

I would never recommend this doctor. He was testing my balance and I fell knocking furniture everywhere. He said nothing just turned and walked out of the room. Forty five minutes later a nurse stuck her head in to see why I was still waiting and said I could leave. I recommend Mercy over all other health care providers in the area, but not this person.

Not impressed. Was approximately a 5 month wait to get into him considering I was a new patient. Very disappointing, this was for sure a one and done. No concern at all regarding the chronic pain I’m in. He did a quick exam and said I don’t see anything...follow up with your GP and walked out the door. Mr. No personality Dr. Brown is a zero stars in my opinion and a waste of time and money.

Dr David Brown, Neurologist, came to my room to evaluate me. I was having a non-specific seizure and have Parkinsons disease - he came into my room and shook and pushed on my right arm and extremely loud and startling yelled my name and asked me how i was doing. He repeated himself twice. I was shocked at his behavior as it was frightening. My husband and a nurse were in the room. The nurse left. Dr Brown conducted an evaluation similar to the stroke evaluations that all of the other doctors di

Dr. brown had poor bedside manner with me. He is hard to talk to, acts like he is superior and does not want to listen. Always in a hurry and made me feel as if I was a constant bother to him. Very seldom made eye contact because he couldnt take his eyes off of the computer screen while he was typing. Made rude comments to me and just overall felt no relation at all with him. I was diagnosed with conversion disorder and he washed his hands of me. Told me this was not a neurological condition.

Dr Brown diagnosed me with Parkinson disease in 2015. I am very thankful for his medical expertise, knowledge and helpful guidance during my very difficult journey. He seems to have compassion and a genuine concern while he helps me in my struggle with the symptoms of this awful disease. Thanks Dr David Brown.

I had a grand mal seizure in October, I saw him the following week. He put me on medication and said he would like to see me again three months later. He didn't want to do any further testing or try to get to the bottom of what happened.

Dr. Brown was rude, insulting and demeaning. I do not trust his judgement and will not return. He is obviously in the medical profession for the money and not to help his patients. I am new to the Mercy system and very disappointed that this low quality physician is allowed to represent it.
