Dr. David Bedol, MD

I would not recommend this doctor to anyone but those wishing to receive completely false or nonsensical medical advice.

My grandmother was treated by Dr. David Bedol at Henry Ford Hospital in September of 2021. The reason she was admitted to the emergency room was because she had a transient ischemic attack (ie, a transient stroke that lasts only a few minutes). This was not the diagnosis she received at the hospital, but the diagnosis later given by her PCP, a neurologist and cardiologist. His medical advice was to "go to bed earlier" and not to drink wine before bed.... We were at the hospital because my grandmother became unresponsive, started drooling and lost consciousness for a few minutes. When I questioned Dr. Bedol, he became abrasive and condescending. She's now on medication to prevent a future stroke. If we'd taken Dr. Bedol's "advice" it's likely she would've had a more severe stroke in the future. Bottom line: I hope Dr. Bedol finds the time to further his medical education. That way, he can avoid making false diagnoses and giving unsuitable medical advice in the future.
