Not at all pleased with Dr. Barrett. Totally changed what he told me he was going to do for cataract surgery and has caused me a great deal of fear and anxiety since. I have not been back to this office in 3 years. Grand Rapids Opthalmology couldn't even get my contact lens prescription right. I never had a problem with contacts in 40 years of wearing them. I am sorry my retired doctor turned his patients over to this office. Five years of bad experiences. Now I don't know who to trust

Dr. Barrett is an excellent surgeon! The staff was very caring and made me feel comfortable before surgery. I had cataract issues and he was able to restore my vision to perfection. So thankful. I highly recommend him.

Dr Barrett is an excellent provider that knows his specialty. I dont want any person doing Lasik on my eyes. He performed the lasik and it worth the money. He was open about the risks that could be associated. Can't think of a better person to trust with your vision

Dr. Barret has a caring bedside manner while being a complete professional. He is kind, intelligent, and he is second to none.
My questions were all answered with patience and confidence even when the office seemed to be quite behind schedule one day. His concern is 100% for his patients. I hope I don't need to ever see him again, but if I do, I'm glad it can be him.
