Excellent. Dr. Assis is the most comprehensive and compassionate doctor I have ever gone to who goes above and beyond. I credit him with saving my life several years ago. He is patient, knowledgeable, explains things thoroughly and is extremely quick to respond to any questions on the portal.

Dr. Assis is treating me for PSC - an autoimmune disorder, considered rare, that has resulted in cirrhosis. He is by far one of the most compassionate physicians I have ever met. Responds to portal messages quickly. Lucky to have found him.

Very knowledgeable doctor, seeing him for diagnosis of Autoimmune hepatitis. Dr. Assis took the time to address all my concerns regarding new medications and possible pregnancy during treatment. He is quick to respond to my messages on MyChart whenever a question pops into my head, and always makes sure I get all my questions answered at appointments before I leave. Highly recommend him to anyone needing a GI specialist.
