Unprofessional & Poor Communication
He was so distracted during a phone conversation regarding my gravely ill family member, it took him three times to share his own contact information. He stated, 'I am distracted' and this was during a conversation about follow-up care for a suicide survivor. His explanations via telephone an in-person lacked clarity and empathy.

Dr. Adson doesn't treat his patients like they are fragile or stupid. He is respectful and kind, but spoke to me like I was a normal human adult discussing facts, which is refreshing in psychiatric medicine. He is factual, reasonable, and scientific. He listens to patient input, and takes what they say at face value to help him prescribe treatment that will work for them. He is careful and honest, and explains reasoning behind every strategy, therapy, or medication he prescribes.
