I had blurry, double vision. Strabismus was corrected by Dr. Bacal. Recovery was a breeze, not as painful as I thought it would be. He is wonderful, extremely knowledgeable and professional. Highly recommend Dr. Bacal.

Good doctor
I took my grandson to see Dr. Bacal today. He's professional and obviously experienced. Any bad reviews he gets are because people are unhappy with his 'bedside manner'. He was polite and explained my grandson's diagnosis clearly. As far as his 'bedside manner', I did not go there to make friends with him. I went because I vetted him based on his 30 years of experience, no complaints of malpractice, his board certification and a slew of very satisfied parents.

They are too good while you visit them but when you have any issues with the billing, they are the worst and unprofessional. The billing lady is very rude. She tried to teach me that my payment if my responsibility (even by elementary aged kid knows that). Extremely bad behavior and they suck! Never going back again there.

I am very disappointed with this location and the staff. Also Dr. Bacal can be very rude at times. He rushes the appointment after you’ve waited to see him for an Hour and a half. Does not explain in detail what is wrong with my child’s eyes or what can we do. I heard great reviews but my 3 visits did not go well and I will not be returning.

My son was turning his head to the right when he was 4 months, his pediatrician told us that he needs therapy because she thought he had torticolis. We’ve been doing therapy for 6 months without any progress. We were wondering about his eyes. Somebody told us about Doctor Bacal, we decided to set up appointment with him. He told us that the real problem was his left eye not his neck, than he did strabismus surgery, now his neck is straight and his eye is good since the surgery. He’s the best

I have been going to Dr. Bacal, since I was diagnosed with MS. MS seemed to settle in my eyes, leaving me with double vision. After trying prisms - that were very heavy and uncomfortable - Dr. Bacal and I chose bilateral strabismus surgery. It was the best decision I ever made. I could not be more happy with the outcome. I no longer have to wear prisms and it seems my eyesight is a little better. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Bacal. He us tge best!!

I am a physician and have a rare genetic defect involving the eyes. Dr. Bacall made that diagnosis after one visit; I had seen several other ophthalmologists over the past 8 years to no avail. He has helped me find the proper lenses to improve my eyesight. He's made me feel very comfortable and has been available if I have any questions. I would recommend him without reservation. I have now sent my husband to see him.

Dr. Bacal came recommended to us when my son was 2 by our pediatrician. He was deemed the best in the state. Exactly what I was looking for and to hear as my son's eye was beginning to cross in. After scheduling an initial appointment, I was hearing his name all over! Kids school, around town, and at work! A clear good sign. He performed surgery about a year later with great success. Dr. Bacal is a phenomenal surgeon/physician. We moved and I STILL drive my son to him. I would highly recommend!!

Dr Bacal is an excellent physician. He was able to quickly diagnose our daughter with a rare eye cancer (retinoblastoma) and help us to get the best treatment for her. Because of his quick diagnosis, our daughter's eye was saved and some vision restored. He is our eye physician for both of our children and is highly qualified and recommended.

Dr.Bacal shows compassion and empathy towards my daughter. He has been her doctor for 5 yrs now. She recently had surgery on both eyes. His knowledge and patience were outstanding. My daughter is 8 yrs old and she doesn't mind going for her eye exams. As a psych nurse and mom I would definitely recommend Dr.Bacal to my family and friends.

Brought our 3month to see Dr becal. He was horrible! He never explained what he was doing and brushed off every thing I had said as if I was bothering him by bringing her there. He diagnosed her with severe nearsightedness and said she needs glasses but he would not give a prescription until she is walking. Just Delaying her development further.

DR. Bacal has been great at every visit. My son's lazy eye has improved greatly due to his recommended treatment. He may not come off at first as warm and fuzzy to some people, but he knows his stuff and is definitely really nice if you ask him questions and get to know him better. He was also very professional in handling my 6 year old. My son has no problem doing all the eye tests and listening to him.
