Bad Experience Due To Receptionist,Assistant
I think Dr. Sims is fine, but my first problem is the fact you have to wait in your vehicle until they call and tell you it's okay to come in the office because they don't have a receptionist, and no family members are allowed to wait in the waiting room for the same reason. And DO NOT ASK THE RECEPTIONIST, ASSISTANT WHY THEY DON'T HAVE A RECEPTIONIST BECAUSE SHE WON'T ANSWER YOU. All she says is, ' we are a small office, I am the receptionist and the assistant. I tried to get her to tell me why they don't have a receptionist by saying there are a lot of small dental offices but they have receptionists, mand she just kept repeating herself. Finally I quite but not before upset her off to the point that when I was numb to have my teeth pulled she messed up my lip. I sure she did it with the suction. She gave me a blister which is the only place I hurt when the numbness wore off, which says a lot for Dr. Sims. A shot on each side of the jaw and 2 or 3 in the front & I only hurt from her.

Terrible Service by Manager
I would give ZERO stars to Dr. Sims and the manager. The manager is rude, disrespectful and NOT willing to listen to patients needs. She did not provide a valid reason as to why she didn’t want to resubmit pre authorization documents to insurance carrier. And what made the experience worse, the manger canceled our extraction appointment that was already pre approved. Worse service ever!

I went in on Friday to have two wisdom teeth removed. I won’t be going back. I felt like I was just another number to them. Didn’t explain anything and wasn’t even fully awake when they “helped” me into the wheelchair. Not a good experience.

I was in the office yesterday and had my wisdom teeth pulled. The lidocaine or whatever they use to numb your mouth I had a bad allergic reaction to it and it wore off halfway through the operation. I told them to stop but they kept going. It has now been 24 hours and the right side of my mouth is swollen to the size of a football. I have no feeling in my tongue. Their bathroom is disgusting. There was pee all over the floor and the walls. I would not recommend going to this Dentist.

Dr. Sims & the office staff are nice, friendly & helpful. The office is clean. He was recommended to us from my son’s dentist for a tooth removal. My son’s mouth is healed & it was all routine for the procedure. Just didn’t like that I had to wait in the waiting room the whole time. I would’ve preferred to be with my son until he went out,but they don’t allow that. I had to trust that he was referred from my son’s dentist.

Dr. Sims and his staff are ridiculously friendly and empathetic of those with anxiety disorders. Dr. Sims' bedside manner was the best I've ever personally encountered. He was warm, friendly, and explained everything he was doing as he did it to help relieve my anxiety, which it did. I unfortunately forgot I couldn't eat or drink before having nitrous, so I ended up not taking it, but even without it, the personality, empathy and kindness of Dr. Sims and his staff soothed my anxiety completely.

I would want highly against using dr. Sims office. They used a bait and switch tactic with me. They told me over the phone after calling my insurance that the worst case scenario out of pocket would be $150. After my wisdom teeth were pulled they told me great news it's only going to be $100. A month later after the procedure I got a bill in the mail for five hundred and some dollars. When I called them, they said sometimes that happens
