Dr. Darrell Robins, MD

Dr. Robins requires ALL patients to have annual paps even though the ACOG says they are only necessary every three years unless you have a history of abnormal paps. If you don't consent to and pay for this unnecessary test then he won't allow you to get a mammogram in his building. I am in my 40s and have a family history of breast cancer but he won't let me get a potentially life saving mammogram if I don't accept a pelvic exam and pap smear which I don't need or want. I just had one a year ago and have never had an abnormal pap in over 20 years. My husband had a vasectomy so I don't have any reproductive concerns or need for birth control, and I have no gynecological concerns or issues whatsoever, so I feel like performing annual paps on every patient regardless of their health despite the ACOG's recommendation is just a money maker. It’s crazy in 2025 that male doctors still give women no autonomy on their bodies, health, and which tests they choose to have done.

Dr. Robins delivered both my kiddos and has always taken great care of me. He is extremely kind, patient and listens. At times where any other primary care doctor has ignored my needs I have talked to Dr. Robins about overall health, he’s recommended me to the best doctors he has worked with or has mentioned the possible causes getting it 100% correct! I’ve had other specialists mention he’s a great doctor for knowing what tests I needed and possible diagnosis. I simply cannot recommend him enough! Extremely thankful for him!

Dr. Robins and his team have been an absolute godsend. He successfully removed a 20 cm fibroid without any complications. Dr. Robins is the best! I only go for well-women visits as my kids are older, but I feel so lucky to have been referred to him by a friend over 10 years ago. He is relaxed and never rushes you through your appointment. He is friendly and willing to answer any questions. All around great experience. I highly recommend Dr. Robins if you need an OB. I also love that I can get my mammogram right after my appointment. It makes it so convenient!

I cannot recommend Dr. Robins enough! As a first time mom, there is already a certain amount of anxiety that comes with the unknowns during a first pregnancy. On top of that, I was diagnosed with Hyperemsis Gravidarum and became incredibly sick early on. Dr. Robins is so incredibly compassionate and was such an advocate for me throughout my pregnancy and made sure that I was always as functional and well as I possibly could be given the circumstances. He is the best!

I absolutely ADORE Dr. Robins. He has been my doctor now for 12 years, took care of my high risk and highly complex pregnancy. He is amazing. I would say he is a 10 out of 5 stars! :)

Love Dr Robins! He has delivered two of my children, has performed several surgeries and procedures, and is always super caring. He is an excellent surgeon as well...he performed a challenging hysterectomy on me and he did an amazing job using the DaVinci robot.

I would highly recommend Dr. Robins. He is very attentive listened to our questions patiently. He is very thorough, didn't rush in the room and hurry back out. He is more confidence and explains everything very clearly. Our wait time was not long at all, the staff is very professional. We especially thankful nurse Lorina, She is wonderful and more caring.

Dr. Robins was my OB for a high risk pregnancy type 1 diabetic and heart condition with implanted defibrillator. Dr. Robins is amazing at explaining and allowing you to ask questions. Dr. Robins was humble, caring, and knowledgeable. I really appreciated that he worked hand in hand with my other specialist for my other conditions to provide the best care for me and my baby. I've seen all kinds of specialist since age 13 and I have to say that Dr. Robins is the best doctor that I've ever seen!

I had complicated high risk pregnancy, Dr took care from day 1 leaving not,a minute detail I mentioned. Good thing about him was in case of emergency he would take eXtra care by calling back and checking on the condition. Dr. Robins is by far one of my favorite doctors. I've been seeing him since I moved to Dallas 6 years ago, and this past November he delivered my twin boys. I had a high-risk pregnancy, and was put on bedrest at 25 weeks - and Dr. Robins was very comforting throughout the entire process. He was patient, understanding, knowledgeable and compassionate. Although I had pre-term labor, I always felt comfortable knowing I was in his care. I'm grateful to him for ensuring the safe arrival of my boys.
