Dr. Darice Wiegel, DO

Nothing good to say about this doctor. Just terrible all the way around. Find a doctor who is attentive and willing to discuss your health and your request with you. Wait times are ridiculous! Should not be working for a credible hospital such as Cleveland clinic.

I’m not surprised at her low rating. She’s about one of the worse doctors I have ever met. I concur with previous statements: she doesn’t listen to what the patient is saying, only do referrals, is like she can’t even giver diagnose on anything, very condescending, honestly can’t find anything positive about her.

I would not call her a doctor. Save your money and see a different provider. She refuses to provide any medical attention besides hand out referrals and refuses speak to me over MyChart but will speak to my husband’s (also a patient) questions via mychart. A little inappropriate I would say. I would say if you are a male maybe she will be a doctor for you? Such a waste of time! You just lost two patients!!

Very dismissive attitude! Did not lesson and only wanted to give me referrals. She was not worth my time needless to say not what she got paid. She should not be connected to Cleveland clinic.

Trying to schedule an appointment with Dr. Wiegel is a nightmare. I tried for months to get an appointment. Finally I got one which was scheduled two months from when I called. I waited two months. I then got a call a week before my appointment and her office cancelled on me. They said I had to wait ANOTHER two months! This is becoming a pattern with Cleveland Clinic. I am finally going to move on from this hospital.

Moylan L. (who speaks for Dr. Wiegel I guess) needs to learn to not be so condescending. Sent a message thru MyChart regarding still having my Covid Cough, and told no prescription until I get an X-ray. Fair enough, but she closed the message box so couldn't ask a follow up question which was if I was able to get the x-ray at the Dr. office as no sense in paying to see my Dr if all they are going to do is charge me for the visit and then send me somewhere else for x-ray and pay them as well. So had to create a new message asking the above and her response was "This is a Doctor office and we do not have a Chest Xray machine, you will need the order from the doctor to go to the hospital and have the test done. Thank you and enjoy the rest of your day." This is a Dr. office??? I didn't realize that! So glad you brought that to my attention!! Who would have thought a Dr. office (I guess any Dr. office) doesn't have the ability to do x-ray on site... Anyway, she closed that chat as well.

I was diagnosed with cellulitis by a retired neurosurgeon who advised me to have the absesses on my hands drained then be put on very strong antibiotics. She blew off the neurosurgeons advice then advised me to see a hand surgeon. I asked her if she could drain the absesses and got a big "nope". She was obviously very aggravated that I told her what the neurosurgeon suggested and what I would like her to do. I worked at Hollywood Memorial for 10 years and have never seen such arrogance in a doctor. I finally told her " I guess we're done here " and walked out. The one star is way too good for her.

Dont let the other negative reviews scare you. You cannot really go based on several experiences when she sees hundreds of patients in a large scale medical hospital. The amount of reviews based on the number of patients she has does not rate. I was very happy with her office in Weston, her wait time, her aides and her overall time she spent with me. I was not rushed and she took time to make sure I was satisfied before I left. I highly recommend her and will be taking the rest of my family to see her. People typically do not leave positive reviews, mostly negative. The positive reviews you see here are a result of people who had positive results and read all of these negative reviews.

I don’t understand the other reviews because, she is one of the only Dr.’s I’ve seen that seemed to show interest in me as a patient. She’s very nice and personable.

Dr. Wiegel is a lovely doctor. She is a big ball of sunshine when she walks into the examine room. Even on your worst days, she'll just make you feel happy! The office staff is nice and it's pretty easy to make an appointment with her. You might not get exactly the appointment that you want online, but I think if you call the office you might have a better chance.

Just saw Dr. Wiegel today for the first time. She was very friendly and seemed to be very interested in my care. Her nurse Michelle was just as friendly. I’m surprised to see all the negative reviews. Hopefully the positive reviews continue.

Completely not interested in patients. Spent 5 minutes with me, didn't even touch me and billed me for an annual physical. Will not go back

Hard to get appt w/ Dr. Average 25-35 min wait even w/ appt. Visits are 10 mins and they don’t even seem to review your medical history even as a long-time patient. Save vacation time. They req. return visits for everything. Had to return after appt. 2 days prior w/ exact same symptoms just to get another prescription. Was made to go in w/ flu ridden toddler Just to get preventative flu meds prescription. Terribly rude nurse Michelle, though front desk staff is very kind. Left in tears.

I specifically wanted a doctor affiliated with Cleveland Clinic, and Dr. Wiegel was available. I was concerned after reading the other negative reviews, but went for my appointment anyway. And I am glad I did! I found Dr. Wiegel to be professional, cheerful and thorough. I would unhesitatingly recommend her to others.

I had no problems with Dr Wiegel. She was professional and seemed to care about me.

All of the poor reviews are confirmed. The worst Dr I have ever met. Will never return. Lack of knowledge can put your life in jeopardy. Cleveland clinic should fire her . So unprofessional that I almost walked out.

i would never return to this doctor. She had absolutely no interest in me nor my well being. Cleveland Clinic should be ashamed having her on their staff.

I was treated by Dr. Wiegel who was condescending and refused to give me medicine so I could get better. She never even looked inside my nose. Allergic people like myself who do not magically heal from sinus infections. Zero stars. Horrible care.

Awful. In my opinion, this is the worst doctor on the planet. She came in on my first (and only) appointment laughing hysterically and wouldn't stop. Not professional; I had a simple problem for which she was completely unhelpful. She did not return calls. Did not feel comfortable or cared about. Will not go back again.
