I love Dr Wang he’s loving, caring and passionate. He’s been my doctor way over Ten Years. People don’t give him enough credit. As long as he’s in business I will be his patient. He deserves a 6 star.

OVER CHARGES
Never gives customer bill in office or explains services rendered that day. Sends bill & charger different prices for same services. Extremely high billing. Disrespectful to staff too.

I have gone to Dr. Wang for several years and have been very satisfied with the care I have received. He is thorough. I have had a couple of urgent things happen and he saw me that very day.

Was waiting 30 minutes..went to the desk...she told me to sign in....which I had done 30 minutes ago. I said I have been waiting.....she asked me my name...told her...she shuffled some charts, and says OH, I was just going to call you. NOT. She took me to a room, and admonished me because I wasn't happy with her attitude. She went whining to the DR. Meanwhile, two people came in the room to ask me if anyone had started anything for me, and I said , no. In races the Dr. BLA BLA BLA...saying the tech has to do certain things, etc. etc...I said I didn't appreciate waiting in an *80 degree waiting room for a half an hour. He says I won't tolerate that attitude,,,I said BY!!! and he kept saying that if I kept it up, I wasn't welcome in his office. I said 'I'm out of here...and facebook is going to hear about this"".. What a punk. I already was leaving...but he kept whining. guess he has to flash his feathers for the other patients.

As a former employee of another Ophthalmology office for 10 yrs, (and another Ophthalmology office for 4 yrs), we received multiple second opinions from patients of Dr Wangs regarding Glaucoma. I would say approximately close to 100+ pts over the course of 10yrs. I worked for the most intelligent glaucoma specialist in MI and I can honestly say that maybe 1 or 2 patients seen for a 2nd opinion, “may” have had early stage Glaucoma. Most of these patients having already had unnecessary procedures.

Terrible place to work. No structure, no training, and no appreciation. When the teacher is unwilling to teach that's not good. Patient's end up waiting long periods of time because of the poor system in the back. Employee's end up crying because of his behavior towards them. Very high turnover in this office. I question the sanity and background of the two people that have been there for years. No one deserves such poor treatment. 2017

Was referred to Dr. Wang from the U of M Health Center and was immediately impressed with his care and compassionate for me as a patient. He has cared for me for over a year and is very thorough in understanding your condition and creating a treatment plan. He runs a very tight ship at the office and makes sure patient are seen promptly and seeks efficiency.

If you like being belittled, micromanaged, not trained well, overworked, and constantly having to guess what kind of mood your boss is going to be in, then this guy is for you. Worst medical job I have ever had. Couldn't wait to get out of there and all because of Dr. Wang. Staff was gracious and kind, willing to train when time allowed it, but there was hardly time to use the restroom. And if you do, you better tell someone or you'll be scolded. Proceed with caution, prospective employees.
