I had a great experience with Dr. Gentry. He's not my usual OB/GYN and I'd never seen him prior to the referral I got for a hysterectomy. He was very kind, patient, informative, attentive and he seemed to genuinely care about me and my experience.

He seemed confused why I had an appointment with him. I explained that I called and canceled my original scheduled appointment because my PCP indicated I didn't need annual exams anymore. His office called me to reschedule me since Dr Gentry had requested that I have a follow up with him.It was confusing-felt as if I really didn't need to be there?

The Dr was very short with me, seems so uninterested with my health concerned when I stated them, and prescribed me birth control I didn't ask for and was unaware it was prescribed until the pharmacy called to tell me to pick it up, in which I didn't, because I didn't want the meds in the first place.
