Wish I had gone to a real doctor
This interventional radiologist was condescending and unprofessional with me. I got worse after she worked on me. Fortunately a doctor was able to reverse what she did. In the meanwhile I was in excruciating pain, couldn’t work and pain was in much worse pain than I have ever experienced in my life. I wish I had not cut corners used a surgeon instead. First do no harm. I feel like a fool for going to her. I wish that healthgrades would not allow her to write positive reviews about herself on here.

Exceptional care, empathic provider
Hallmarks of a great provider are exceptional clinical knowledge and skills, compassionate bedside manner and a genuine regard for patients. Dr. Sorte displayed all these components and more when she treated me for pain secondary to traumatic accident. From initial consultation to procedures and aftercare, Dr. Sorte addressed all my concerns during visits. A great communicator, she reviewed MRI results with me and explained each step of my treatment plan. She is amazing!

Dr. Sorte is talented and compassionate.
I had the absolute luck and pleasure to have Dr. Sorte be my neuroradiologist. She found a life-threatening vertebral artery dissection after I had a negative read CT from a different hospital. I was experiencing very painful headaches, nausea/vomiting, and feeling off for a few weeks. Though the MRI series ordered from my PCP was not the correct imaging for my symptoms, Dr. Sorte went above and beyond and looked meticulously at my imaging. I whole-heartedly believe Dr. Sorte saved me from a catastrophic disability or death. I am able to continue my life and be there with my kids and wife all thanks to Dr. Sorte. I would highly recommend her.

Radiology X-ray results
She read my X-rays. I had previous X-rays for comparison and she found no where near the detail of the results from a year before. My back has gotten significantly worse, yet, her results lacked in any new knowledge to decide a treatment plan. I also had an MRI within the same month which shows again, great detail of my current problem, and her results are completely generic. I feel like she is leaving me in great harm, and I am getting a second opinion immediately. I would never recommend her to anyone.

Excellent Work
Dr. Sorte is an excellent clinician! She changed my mother's life for the better with a spine procedure. My mom had a vertebrae compression fracture after a bad fall which got worse with time and is now in much less pain. She took the time to explain the procedure and talked about all the risks and benefits. My mother felt that it was worth the risk given that her alternative would be to live a life full of pain. I have seen other reviews of her with unfortunate outcomes. There are always risks of complications in any procedure. I am writing this review in hopes that others see the positive side of her skill and work.

Dr. Danielle Eckart-Sorte made a careless mistake that left my husband paralyzed and unable to speak. I would not recommend her, nor would I ever allow my, now permanently disabled, husband to be in her care again. I hope this helps others to avoid the catastrophic results we are left to deal with.

She would not tell me ahead of time what she was doing. It made me anxious because she just did stuff to me. If a person walks me though things it goes much better. Had a complication from her procedure. I really wish someone would train her so she leans how to do stuff.

Now her name is Danielle Eckart Sorte. I saw her at the university of new mexico hospital. This doctor lacks clinical skills in procedures. She made jokes a group of resident physicians while I was undergoing a procedure. On another occasion I had a lumbar puncture performed by her. She was totally unprepared. Did not have the correct supplies, table was not the right height for her and there was not enough lighting. I ended up having complications and going to the ER. She may be great at
