Dr. Danielle Savage, MD

Dr Savage was my doctor and my mother’s doctor until we moved to North Carolina recently. She helped me coordinate and keep track of all the specialists I saw and tests I had and reviewed my chart and met with me to discuss what else I may be missing. In addition she was an excellent physician for the everyday aches, pains, viruses, infections, bone breaks and everything else a general practitioner needs to cover. I miss her. I haven’t been able to find a doctor anywhere near her caliber to help me coordinate care and see to myself, and my family’s, overall care. Truly wish we could have cloned her and moved her with us :)

Dr. Savage is fine however I can’t agree more about this office staff. They apparently don’t operate like I have to assume other practices in terms of managing appointments. I am on a medication that requires my blood pressure to be checked every 3 months. I had an appointment 2 weeks before my scheduled renewal that I unfortunately I had to miss. The next available appointment? 21 DAYS + well after I need to fill my Rx. Do they not keep any open appts for sick patients or other needs?

If you are really sick and call the office they aren’t willing to squeeze you in doesn’t matter if you have asthma they advise you to go to urgent care or keep calling office to see if someone has cancelled . The doctor is great it’s just the staff unfortunately I will have to change my primary because of this.

Dr. Savage has been my Internist for about 3 years and I find her to be very knowledgeable, patient, and caring. She spends as much time as you need discussing your particular issues.

Dr. Savage is a kind, compassionate, very well educated, competent and courteous physician. She very much looks at the whole person, not just at the medical condition(s) her patients present and her treatment style is pragmatic, well-informed and intelligent. Dr. Savage is unafraid to balance the traditional or conventional western medicine approach with consideration for other modalities that can only help and not harm her patients. In other words, she is the essence of a breath of fresh air

No sense of caring or concern for the patient. No interest of knowing the root of the problem and very easy to say if you are in a rush to have results go to the emergency room and that is after the patient was treated and was back with the same problem.
