Highly skilled and compassionate
I have had the pleasure of visiting Dr. Dehoratius several times and I couldn't be more impressed with my experience. Dr. Dehoratius exudes professionalism and expertise and her genuine care for her patients is evident from the get-go. During my visit she took the time to listen attentively to my concerns and explained my diagnosis and treatment plan in a way that made me feel confident in her recommendations. She also took the time to provide valuable advice for long-term skin health. Overall my experience was outstanding and I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone in need of dermatological care.

Compassionate and thorough care
Our entire family has seen Dr. Dehoratius for years and we think she is the finest dermatologist we've met. She's made herself available for emergency appointments and is particularly sensitive with our children. Her exams are thorough and caring, and she demonstrates each visit that she cares about more than just your skin.

The Absolute Best
I can't say enough good things about Dr. Dehoratius--you will never find a Dr. (derm or otherwise) who cares more about their patients, and who is more knowledgable and kind than she is. She treats me and my family, and has solved some big challenges that my daughter has had. She makes everyone comfortable, she listens, she explains things simply, she's always smiling and she is just so smart--you will be so glad that you found her (and you'll wish that all your doctors were as capable and wonderful as she is.) She's a unicorn.

Absolutely amazing
I’ve been seeing her for about a year now, and I genuinely appreciate her attentiveness as my provider (even if the clinic is running behind regarding appointments). She’s worth the drive, and the staff are also very helpful. I’m really glad she does what she does, and I’ve never felt uncomfortable as a person of color. She’s not available often to be honest, but she’s always worth the wait.

The best of the best!
If you want the most competent, compassionate dermatologist, you have found her. Dr Danielle DeHoratius is thorough and exudes confidence. She cares deeply about every patient and follows up personally and quickly with biopsy reports. She makes referrals when needed to those specialists she would trust with her own family members. I am so blessed to call “Dr D” my and my family’s dermatologist. Hands down, simply “the best of the best.”

Great dermatologist
My mom has been going to Dr. De Horatius for a very long time, and recently I started going with her. She is super sweet and helpful, and she helped me with my skin as well as a wart I had been struggling with for over a year. 10/10 recommend if you are looking for a dermatologist!!

I Recommend Dr. de Horatius
Danielle M. de Horatius, M.D is the pinnacle and epitome of the best of what a doctor can and should be. She has saved my life. I am a 72-year-old man and a labile type I, insulin pump-dependent diabetic of 63 years. Dr. D found, after extensive review of my case and an exhaustive review of the peer reviewed literature that I was one of an extremely small percentage of patients allergic to a specific diabetes medication. By having me stop the med she prevented a fatal anaphylactic reaction. Other physicians offered only anti-itch creams and not even a cursory discussion of meds with examinations that lasted at most 3 minutes. Dr. D. took the time to listen, understand, analyze, and research the most minute details of my case and saved my life. I trust my life and the lives of my family members to Dr. D. There is no finer example of what a doctor should be than Danielle M. de Horatius, M.D. There is no finer doctor and no finer person anywhere.

Top Doc
I have been a patient for about 10 years. I now see her on an annual basis for regular checkups. Dr. D is truly a wonderful physician. She has the twin abilities of great knowledge of her specialty and the ability to explain things clearly to her patients without patronizing. Her focus is completely on the patient from the moment she enters the room.

Patient-centered Quality Care
I am a 58-year-old Black woman. I grew up in a single-parent family in the North Philadelphia area of Philadelphia, PA. Coming from that environment, I was accustomed to going to public health clinics and the emergency department of area hospitals for routine and acute medical care. Unfortunately, physicians were often aloof, unapproachable, and indifferent beyond the clinical. However, Dr. Danielle de Horatius is the complete opposite—compassionate, attentive, responsive, respectful, and proactive. She is the personification of patient-centered care and patient advocacy. I said that because she consistently puts the needs of her patients first. Case in point, my husband, also her patient, had squamous cell skin cancer. She guided his care from start to finish, checking in on him throughout the healing process. She treats my husband and me with the same urgency, respect, concern, and care as a family member.

Wonderfully gifted doctor
Dr. D. Is a warm, compassionate, gifted person whom I am honored to call my doctor. From the minute she walks in the examine room, her focus is all on the patient and she speaks in a kind and caring manner. She’s the “real deal” and really understands her patients concerns. I have recommended her countless times and trust her medical expertise with 100% confidence. I became a patient by accident. I was in the exam room with my mom, a longtime patient of Dr. D. She looked at me to talk and said she didn’t like the mark on my nose. I immediately became her patient at which time she removed the spot. She was able to successfully treat it and I became her patient forever. I feel extremely fortunate to have her as my dermatologist!

I have been going to Dr. DeHoratius for almost 10 years. She is extremely competent, kind and empathetic. Having been to a couple of dermatologists prior, I appreciate her abilities as a physician even more. I will never go to no one else. Twice she found issues other physicians did not and once possibly saved my life. I can not recommend her highly enough. She is a remarkable doctor and person.

Incredibly thorough
My repeated visits with Doctor DeHoratius are the best interactions with a physician...across all disciplines... I have ever experienced. At a time when most doctors are concerned about speeding up the visit so they can get on to the next patient and complete paperwork, every appointment with Dr. D has been as long as I needed to be. In addition to her thorough exams, she patiently answers every question with detailed, plain-English responses. When you dealing with issues as serious as skin cancer, they are exactly the type of confidence-inspiring attributes you want in your doctor. What a breath of fresh air. Dr. DeHoratius earns my highest recommendation.

The Best
A young, kind, compassionate soul with a great sense of humor. She really really cares. She is extremely knowledgeable and remembers even the little details. I can’t stress how comfortable and cared for I felt. I had a rare rash that was scary and painful. If it wasn’t for her, I would have never had relief. She sees my entire family now. She’s stuck with us for life. She even sees my pcp’s family!!
