This woulda been around 2011-2018. And I was being seen for.MyADHD medication only.I had already been off the prescribed painkillers after treatment at serenity house in Abilene1-21-12.So when I got out of treatment,I called every psychiatrist at least20 and they all said no,we don’t see addicts.! I’ve been onADHD medsmy wholelife,never been addicted to them,never abused them to this day.I wasn’t asking them for painkillers,But they didn’t care,I was still new in the oilfield having a hard time getting stuff done my mind was all over the place.1 day outa the blue,l received 3month script for.My,adhd meds,back when they were CIII less strict than what they are now CII.I hadn’t called or talked to drmic in 4-5 months,Everything changed that day the best years of my life are bcuz of DrMic n herteam.1 of the Sweetest Latinas working there. I saw Dr. Badea-Mic a long time ago but don’t think I’ve ever left a review. Her replies to unfavorable reviews are very unprofessional. The patient form asked a lot of questions about drugs like, “How often does your family complain about your drug use?” Given that I have no history of drug use, these questions were off putting. I was also told by the tech taking my vitals that regular urine testing was mandatory. I didn’t figure my insurance would cover unnecessary drug testing. I started to think this clinic was not a good fit. When I met with her and told her what my previous dr had me on (I had just moved to the area which is why I needed a new one.) she laughed and said she would lose her license if she prescribed those. I was so upset that I left and didn’t bother looking for another Dr. When I ran out of my meds I had such a hard time that I called my old dr who recommended I go inpatient for a bit. I also found a PCP to prescribe my meds.

So many red flags in the office set up and policies. Tread carefully, and be your own advocate. Familiarize yourself in what is legal and what is not 100% on the up and up.

Had an appointment for over a month. Then with just about one week before my appointment they call and tell me they will no longer be accepting UHC insurance. Very poor way to treat patients.

I have read the negative reviews and can only surmise these people where not looking for help but either medications are confirmation. My experience had been positive with Dr. Mic. I think psychiatry is one of the harder areas of medicine to practice because you are by definition dealing with mental disease snd patients aren’t always capable of getting better. Dr. Mic is extremely intelligent and gets to know her patients bringing a personal touch to the dr/patient relationship.

I’ve been Dr Mic’s patient for years, I can honestly say she along with my family have saved my life. She is such a good Dr. and an even better person. Extremely professional and no matter the day or situation she always wears a contagious smile. I hope she gets to read this and the best assistant she has is Roxy! That woman is a rockstar! I recommend them to anyone that is struggling. If I could I would give them many more star rating!!

Great. She made me feel at ease and I was able to get more dialogue that was 2-way communications. I have had problems with previous doctors that won't say much, even when it comes to diagnosis. Only with her have I identified several other areas I have issues that I never thought would apply to me, but made sense. Great staff!!

I have now had my third visit with Dr. Mic and each has been wonderful and very pleasant! She took the opportunity to really ask questions and get to know me during our first session. I was headed down a dark path and my visits to Dr. Mic have perhaps saved my marriage, my career, and possibly even my life. A Godsend! Thank you!

I had my first visit with Dr. Badea-Mic today. I found her to be warm but a quiet person overall. She asked me the usual questions about my medical history in a casual way as if we were sitting there having tea. That really really helped put me at ease. It was as if she could read my mind. I needed that so I could tell her a few things about my childhood and background that were unpleasant. She was so kind and showed such compassion towards me as I was telling her about it. At the end of our visit we were laughing! I look forward to this new treatment plan and working with Dr. Badea-Mic & her Staff.

Dr. Mic is a Psychopathic Narcissist that attempted to have me harmed at Memorial Psychiatric Hospital in the months of Feb and March of 2018!!! She also gave instructions to Staff and Security to physically harm me in 2015 at the same Psychiatric Hospital. In addition, she forced Antipsychotic medications on me numerous times without my consent! I had horrific side effects as a result of her Psychopathic Behavior! Be extremely careful because if she doesn't like you, Mic will cause harm to you! This individual belongs in Prison!!!! She is not an Authentic Psychiatrist. Mic needs her License revoked immediately before she can cause more deaths of her patients!!!

I can’t that Dr. Badea and her staff enough. From the moment I walked in I knew I was in the right place. The staff is so welcoming, kind and professional. I look forward to my appointments. Dr. Badea is brilliant and so easy to open up to. She’s very understanding, and genuinely wants to see her patients get better. Recommend 100%!!!

She is so smart and amazing. I think she is a wonderful Dr. That could have helped me if she wanted to, but she gave up on me, but I will still give her 5 stars and would reccomend her because I would go back to her if I could.

I have been with Dr. Mic for 3 years. She and her staff have been nothing but gracious to me. Now I will say this: I have had problems with getting medications timely. I used to think this was at the fault of the Drs office. Now that I understand the process more, and dealing with my terrible pharmacy and insurance, I realize that it’s not the Drs fault at all. In fact, when things like this happen they work as best they can with me to fix the situation. Dr Mic and the team are the best.

Dr. Mic is an outstanding psychiatrist. When I had my first visit with her, she listened to what I was experiencing. She asked me several questions about my history and explained what was going on with me. She prescribed some new medications for me and they have helped. I would recommend her to all my friends and family going through difficult times. She knows a lot about the different medications on the market that can help people.

Dr. Mic is by far the best psychiatrist I have seen in my 35 year journey. I have just completed the TMS treatment that has in her practice. This is cutting edge technology for depression. She is the only dr. in Corpus Christi that offers this treatment. I have my life back. Dr. Mic loves her work and wants to help patients get their happiness back. I am extremely grateful to her and her staff. I highly recommend Dr. Mic.

Dr Mic is one amazing Dr. She's very smart at what she does.....she was mine for over 12yrs ...ive been unable to see any other Dr since her for 5 yrs ....if I wasn't so scared of rejection I'd go to her again for another 12yrs
