He is great. Up to date on health care and spends time with you when you see him. I would recommend him to anyone. HOWEVER, his office is another matter. I am always on hold or they never pick up (one day for 3 hours I tried to get through) when I leave a message, they don't follow up and I have yet to get a return phone call or email I wish Dr. Vandenberg was affiliated with another provider.

I had my first telehealth appointment and the doctor was well over an hour late. After holding for 30 minutes to speak to someone, the office staff rudely told me that the doctor was running a "little" late. I asked if she could find out a new time to see the doctor so I could reschedule my work meetings, and she said she cannot because he is in with a patient and did I want to reschedule (with a very rude tone). It was imperative that I see the doctor because I needed my new referrals for the new year. So, unfortunately, I had to deal with this. Once the doctor finally called me, instead of listening to my concerns, he had an attitude and basically told me that I have to deal with it because "good doctors take time to wait for" and he asked me the same questions 3x because he didn't listen. I tried to explain my concern and he refused to listen. The only reason I haven't switched provider groups is that I needed to complete my treatments.

He was my doctor for about 5 years....this guy is a real jerk and very cold hearted...but by far THE BEST DR. I HAVE EVER HAD. His comedy isn't half bad either. He genuinely cares about his patients health...he's just a firm believer that, your feelings have nothing to do with your health...and you know what HE'S 100 PERCENT CORRECT...his staff always made me feel like family and I hope they're all doing fantastic....

He is the closest to the real Dr House with his overall approach to your healthcare, treatment plan and wellness program. He does everything possible to improve improve your quality of life. Very few doctors left like him. The government should hire him to understand how healthcare should be administered - a lot of money wound be saved because he fixes the problems rather than continually treats it until it gets so bad the patient is sicker. Excellent doctor.

Although he doesn't have the best bedside manner, and won't necessarily become your best friend, Dr. Vandenberg reviews every condition in a highly professional manner and provides excellent resolutions or courses of action.
