worst care of my life - messed me up for years
Unpleasant to begin with. When I first started to see him I was on a compounded medication he wasnt very familiar with and he wanted to switch me without listening to me and the reasons I was on it. Several months after the birth of my child he said I was fine and took me off thyroid meds completely. I pleaded to stay on them as I had been on them for 14 years at this point, but he refused. Less than 2 months later I was in credibly ill. His office was reluctant to even do labs as I was scheduled to have some in 2 weeks. Ends up TSH above 100. SO many symptoms. He refused to put me back on the same meds. Was unapologetic. Just horrible. Took me years to recover.

Referred to Dr. Spratt by my PCP and had an online appointment because of COVID crisis but he spent less than 5 minutes talking to me leaving the rest of the 30-minute appointment (because it was the first) to his medical student on her endocrinology rotation. I spent the entire appointment explaining my condition and how to treat it. I knew more than she did. Dr. Spratt didn't try to intercede and teach her it was up to me. Very disappointed. I insisted on an in-person appointment this year and they cancelled it and said I couldn't see him until October (16 months after my first appointment) and only by Video. Very disappointed in his care. I think he likes working from home and doesn't care about actually seeing patients as people.

Dr Spratt is a knowledgeable and patient doctor. He was referred to me by an outstanding Gynecologist who said that Dr Spratt knows more about hormones than any other person she has ever met. I went to him for treatment of osteoporosis, and a hormone imbalance. I am a question asker with a science background. His responses both in the office and thru MyChart have always been extremely well worded and most helpful. He has treated me as a team player in discussing my health. I especially like that he follows thru on measuring prescription results with blood work.

My OB/GYN referred me to Dr Spratt for a consult for PCOS. I had recently lost my menstrual cycles and gained 100# in 5 months while running and being active. He saw me twice and end result told me I was perfectly fine and to get a gastric bypass surgery to lose the weight. He was very unprofessional and barely spent anytime with me. It made me doubt myself and the medical problems I was having. I will never go back to him.
