Hospital for Special Surgery I just had removal of a fibroid nodule from a TKR several months ago. Dr Maalouf was my anasthesiologist. He came in prior to my surgeon and explained EXACTLY what he was going to do. He explained, in detail, what this particular surgical procedure would require, both to keep me unaware of the event and numb all pain, and the more substantial medication I would NOT need, and roughly how long it would be to recover from them. He is popular with the surgical nursing team I was with too which was a great sign !

Dr Maalouf was the Anesthesiologist for my knee replacement surgery planed for Nov. 2018. His pre-op interview and examination made him suspicious so he decided to do a sonogram and discovered I had acute appendicitis. His discovery saved me a lot of misery and probable infection. I feel it saved my life. I highly recommend Dr. Maalouf for any procedure you have planned.
