Dr. Daniel Lopez, MD

He does single-handedly ignores patient emails and calls. It is very clear he has no regard for patient well being.

I have never experienced the level of unprofessionalism that I have with Dr. Lopez. He does not demonstrate care for patients' well-being. I have been emailing him for weeks about an issue of a semi-urgent nature and he never responded. The only time he responded was when I called Kaiser Permanente to ask someone to get in touch with him (3 weeks later), and he emailed me the following day with information that contradicted information I received from his nurse practitioner 2 weeks prior. When I emailed him again to ask him to clarify this contradiction, he once again, failed to respond to my email...that was 10 days ago. I have filed a complaint with Kaiser, and will be contacting the AMA to share my concerns about his competency as a medical professional.

Dr. Lopez fixates on one health issue when I visit, my depression. I continue to have serious asthma problems and he has not referred me to the asthma/allergy specialist. When I have physicals he says they are well visits in other words this is not the time to discuss what is bothering you currently. So what is the point of a physical if we don't discuss what is going on with me. He does not order screenings during my physicals except bloodwork. At 47 I am quite sure I need to be screened.
