Dr. Lang seems to be well educated and has a lot of experience, but as the others mentioned - he is rude! He looks at an article on Google to discuss. Really?! Moving forward, I explain that I have already consulted with an outside Cardiologist and the information that he is giving is different. He goes off in a rant about how I did that and why did I go to Cedars. I have worked in healthcare almost 20 years and I was NOT impressed but anything he offered. Do yourself a favor, find a new cardiologist.

Dr. Lang was the most pompous, rude and condescending person I have ever encountered. I asked him for a second opinion and he became angry that I would "question" his medical advice. I would never recommend this doctor. I an very surprised Kaiser would have such a ill-tempered unprofessional doctor on their staff. There are so many good cardiologists to pick from....do not trust your life to this particular one.

Dr. Lang has seen my elderly mother through open heart surgery and her road to recovery. That process involved many doctors and he stood out as the most caring and competent. He’s not just smart, he cares about the patient and their best interest. One of the problems with big systems is that issues can fall through the cracks but his initiative has helped our family navigate successfully. He is an exemplary doctor and human.

He was condescending, rude, arrogant and abusive to his to his staff. I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt and he was patronizing and unimpressive. He came off as a very judgemental, arrogant and inflexible man. I couldn't put my trust in someone who is so completely without self-awareness. To top it off he was wrong about how to manage my condition because he jumped to conclusions without taking time to appreciate the situation.
