Mom's Review of Sons ACL Repair
My son tore his ACL & Dr Keefe was recommended by someone who had surgery completed by him 15 years ago, w/no additional complications! Due to the nature of the injury his office got us in within a few days. We first saw a PA. He was thourough, got him a brace and aspirated the fluid for comfort. The office got us in quickly for his MRI. Initial appt w/the Dr was amazing. My son had several questions, Dr Keefe was patient & not only provided answers but spoke to him & not me which I appreciated. We scheduled his ACL repair w/patellar tendon replacement & both medial & lateral meniscus repair. The team was on top of his pre-op. The entire surgery team was kind and professional. PostOp was rough based on medications but his team again, responded anytime I had questions & went out of their way to check in. Additional follow up & physical therapy has been great. His injury was in Aug, surgery in Oct & he is on schedule to compete in track this spring! Best OS DR EVER!!

Dr. Keefe did an awesome job on my ACL surgery. Before the surgery, he really helped me understand my options. I appreciated how his team checked in on me before and after the surgery. He's also done a great job helping through the recovery with follow-up visits. I rarely have to wait long at the office. He answers all my questions and spends a good amount of time with me. He really cares about helping get back to being as healthy as possible.

Right Shoulder Surgery
Dr. Keefe and his surgery team did an excellent job on repairing my right shoulder which had a tear in the rotator cuff as well as 29 years of scar tissue after a previous surgery on the same shoulder. The recovery went great and I am back to golfing after approximately 13 weeks!

I can highly recommend Dr. Keefe. Saw him the first time 12 years ago for ACL/meniscus tear and went back to him this year again. He will take as much time as needed to thoroughly explain your diagnosis with you and the options you have, incl. conservative non-surgery treatments. Never pushes in one way or the other but instead will give you an honest assessment and advice. If you do end up having a surgery, you are in great hands! Also his team is very personable and helpful.

I had 2 knee dislocations and was having issues with pain and stability. I went to Dr. Keefe for a second opinion as physical therapy alone wasn't helping. He gave me a variety of options, including surgery, and spent the time to explain each one to me, the pros, the cons, etc. I ultimately decided to have surgery but I never felt pressured by Dr. Keefe to do so. Throughout the pre-op and post-op surgery process, Dr. Keefe was patient, kind, and took the time to make sure all my questions were answered during every appointment. I never felt like he was rushing off to another patient or procedure. His staff was also very kind and helpful, and were quick to answer my post-op phone questions. The surgery itself went extremely smoothly and while I can't see inside my knee, the incisions on the outside of the knee look good and clean. I highly recommend Dr. Keefe!

I was having problems with both shoulders, particularly left one. Primary ordered an MRI, and it came back showing a small tear in the rotator cuff. Doctor said it would probably require surgery. Made an appointment with Dr. Keefe. He said that the tear was very small, and did not require surgery. Prescribed pt which relieved issue. Later recurred, but an injection straightened out the problem. Still occasional pain, but no surgery. Really satisfied with his openness and willing to help.
