Dr. Daniel Hwang, MD

Dr Hwang has helped me with my health for serval years dealing with back issues, kidney stones and also weight issues. He has helped me with treatment plans but also referred me to the right specialists as needed. He is nice to talk to and very calm - takes the time to understand all the details. I am surprised by some of the other reviews as they seem to be for the wrong doctor - maybe an error posting.

I have been experiencing numbness and sharp pain around my groin area. I have many concerns and questions, especially knowing I have a family history of prostate and cervical cancer. So instead of making an appointment with my regular primary care doctor, I chose a male physician with whom I feel more comfortable. My appointment is with Daniel Hwang. This person mistreated and disrespected me as a patient. He did not care or listen to my concerns and disregarded what I tried to explain. What kind of medical appointment lasted for less than a couple of minutes? Well, mine was. When I was trying to explain my symptoms and concerns to him, he first said, " I had nothing left to do here" "I sent you a specialist." What kind of doctor treats the patient without any patient assessments and inspections? Well, He did. I felt that he might have some personal dislike toward me. He showed me that I was not a patient and that he would like to inspect and treat me with dignity. Forever whatever reason he may have, he took the oath of being a doctor who supposes to treat any patient. I spent time driving, waiting, and paying the copay for this appointment. But for Daniel Hwang, the time that he walked into the patient's room and left the room was only about 3-4 minutes. So I don't see him as a doctor. I hope he, his family (if he has one), his mother, father did not have to go through what I go through. I hope he understands that the patient he refused to treat could have worse symptoms and eventually become fatal due to the physician's lack of proper diagnosis and treatments. I hope he knows that what goes around comes around.

Dr. Hwang listens to patient's concerns, but he and his staff needs improvement for follow-ups.

I have been seeing Dr. Hwang, as my primary care provider, for the past five years. He is a very caring, compassionate, kind person. His medical care is excellent. He takes time to listen and is very thoughtful in his plan of care. He always discusses how he would like to proceed and makes sure I am in agreement with the plan of care. Dr. Hwang is a highly competent and wonderful physician. There are not enough stars for his quality of care. He has my highest recommendation.
