I cannot understand why the physician takes an oath upon graduation from medical school to cause no pain and to help those in pain. Delivers pain, both emotional and mental stress. His nurse is a vector in which this stress begins, a dual from Dante's Divine comedy or Inferno. I did expect more from a physician with over 20 years of practice. His and his nurse's clinical skills and bedside manners are in great need of a serious refresher CMEs to meet today's PTs and medicine practices.

My visit was by telephone, due to distance. It was after office hours, around 8:00 PM, as that was the first time he had available. He gave me his thoughts about my condition based on my MRI, answered all of my questions, gave clear explanations, and made additional suggestions about things that might help after I asked questions. I was most grateful for his kindness, his thoughtfulness, his willingness to spend as much time on the phone as needed. I highly recommend him.

Have suffered from severe migraines and upper cervical issues since a car accident 30 years ago. Have tried all, done all then sent to Dr. Hurley who did upper injections 2x. Then he's done. Very condescending. No future appointments, have to call and beg to be seen and in spite of 9 miles of records am told he doesn't see anything "that bad". Has told me to go to neurologist tho the last 3 said nothing they can do and all ask me why isn't dr hurley helping you? isn't that a great question? Don't have room here to repeat hurtful. Snotty comments and thinks all the pain is something Im pestering him about.

I’m in agreement with one reviewer. Talks a lot always rushing between rooms. Has the nurse five paperwork and a goodbye Dr Hurley feels he is above the patients due to education but his mannerisms are not there! Always comments how much better the patient tests look than his own Really do I wanna hear this? He Doesn’t believe in fibromyalgia...trigger point injections always the solution which flares the fibromyalgia pain extreme Then keep you on opioids for years no problem but now with the tougher laws why do we the patient need to suffer and stop cold turkey Yes no help or reducing to ween off meds he just stop filling them He has no concern or empathy for patients were just $ in the bank If you have found Dr Hurley and he is helping you God Bless !!! Otherwise find a new Dr who has time and compassion!! You deserve it !!

20 years+ Severe pain & spasms; two fusions (PT, electrostim, scar tissue breaking exercises ...). Great doc moved. Sent to Hurley instead. Huge pain down leg fr foraminal stenosis, seen by radiologist, confirmed by prior, better PMR MD (who triggered identical pain there w/ needle, later relieved leg pain via epidural there). Hurley: *Very* cursory exam, glance at scan. He decides my stenosis not severe enough to cause leg pain (ignoring me, doc who tested, pain MDs). Zero help. "Exercise more"

This Dr. was great the first visit I had with him. My case then turned in to a workers comp case and he did a 180 and wanted nothing to do with me. He was actually one of my favorite Dr.s until then. Because of how I was treated I am filing a formal complaint with the board regarding his behavior. He didn't even exam me this time I went in. He just kept talking about fighting with my insurance and telling me everyone has aches and pains. That was not his tune last month when he wanted to give me

I started seeing Dr. Hurley to deal with exacerbation of cervical pain due to arthritis. In the time I have been seeing him, he has been a consistent source of calm in helping me stay positive in dealing with my pain issues. Whether it be an office visit, an injection, or the rhizotomy I received, his approach has been educational and empathic. I consider myself very fortunate to be under the care of such an amazing doctor who has surrounded himself with an equally amazing team!
