My daughter had spinal fusion at Childrens in Feb 2021. Dr. Hedequist was incredibly kind, compassionate and very knowledgeable in regards to the surgery. He answered all of our questions and we never felt rushed. Dr. Hedequist and his entire team were fantastic and we were so grateful to have him. He changed the trajectory of my daughters life for the better.

Our daughter had surgery in Boston, after 2 unsuccessful spinal fusions in Syracuse.. Dr. Hedequist was a godsend! He gave her the opportunity to have a normal future. He is patient, thorough, and compassionate.

Dr. Hedequist literally gave my daughter her life back. She had Bertolotti's Syndrome and needed a back fusion. He was very thorough and we took the conservative approach, trying everything before recommending surgery. Ultimately, we concluded that only surgery would remove the pain. He fused her L5-S1 and it was a total success. Dr. Hedequist is truly amazing.

I have been seeing Dr. Hedequist for as long as I can remember. He always listens to my questions or concerns and spends a lot of time explaining things to me so I can understand what's going on. He is good at what he does and knows what he's talking about. Dr. Hedequist is the only doctor I trust!
