Dr. Daniel Hampton, MD

When I was in the peak of a terrible flare up with no GI in a new city, Dr. Hampton was immediately on it and doing tests and procedures to get me healthy. He is always quick and thorough in his responses, and has even reached out personally over the phone on multiple occasions to check in on my health. He really listens to concerns and offers the time and space that many doctors don't. Very lucky to have found him!

I went to him with a recurrent nausea/vomiting/abdominal pain. He dismissed me by saying, "Its anxiety." He even wrote it in my EGD notes. Well come to find out I have something called angioedema which is related to a Mast Cell disorder. Mine manifested in my duoidium which is a very WELL known symptom of the disorder, something a GI doctor should know about. But he was so quick to discount me off as some hysterical woman he never even attempted to see if it was something more serious ! Thank Goodness I had the presenance of mind to go to National Jewish Hospital and was diagnosed right away and started on treatment and have been symptom free for over 2 years now. Please if you value your health stay AWAY from this doctor, especially if you're a woman.

I have been so pleased with Dr. Hampton's treatment & his bedside manner is low key & pleasant. A pretty icky set of symptoms led to my referral to Dr. Hampton & he immediately made me feel comfortable discussing these things. He ordered a colonoscopy & performed it himself - which, when you're so decompensated from the prep for this proceddure, means a lot to just see a familiar smiling face. His follow up was prompt and informative. I'd recommend him without reservation.

Dr. Hampton and his staff have performed endoscopies and colonoscopies on all members of my family. I highly recommend them.
