Dr. Daniel Gloekler, MD

Dr. Gloekler is very knowledgeable, attentive and caring. He answered all my questions, explained the entire process, and closely followed my progress after my humerus fracture surgery. He is young but knows his job. Highly recommended!

Doctor has a good team & they made sure to obtain as much detail about my health & condition. Also appreciate the tie ups with other labs to quickly access scans and reports.

Surgery & post op visits went great!

Emergency surgery and 3 week visit were all very positive and made me feel comfortable The Doctor is very kind and friendly and answered all my questions and made me feel I was an important patient He was optimistic on the recovery process after reviewing th x rays. His associates were very helpful and friendly i the X ray department and so was the woman who took off the cast and stitches. She was extremely pleasant and helped me overcome my anxiety and nervousness. It was an excellent visit

This was a followup visit from a spiral compound fracture of the tibia and fibula. Dr. Gloekler did the original Al surgery on July 4th, 2021. He did an excellent job of putting the plate on the fibula and the nail through the tibia. I could tell from the way that he described the surgery that he is a perfectionist, which is comforting. All follow up visits have been excellent. He also has a very nice manner.

I had an open elbow fracture and required a trauma surgeon. Dr. Gloekler was called in and thankfully he was excellent and very compassionate. He explained everything and I felt like I was in good hands.

Surgery was flawless. Exceptional follow-up. Back on my feet again.

Waste of time. Visiting from out of town. Husband fell hard on pavement during family basketball game injuring shoulder. Went to Inova, est wait time of 5 + hours. Had x-rays done, told by staff not sure of break rec CT Scan. Signed him out, went to OrthoVa Reston the next morning, walk-in apptmt, saw Dr. Gloekler, he didn't look at the films online, just read the report from Inova and regurgitated it to us. Traveled back to home area, saw ortho surgeon in Va Beach two days later who looked at the films, said mild shoulder dislocation. Rest, ice, PT in 6 weeks. Va Beach doc did an excellent large repair on my shoulder 4 years ago, so I know he knows what he's talking about. Based on Vahealthproviders, Dr. Gloekler is brand spanking new. Wish we'd met with someone with experience. Total waste of time. I realize docs have to learn, but you would think an early lesson in med school would be "look at the x-rays" don't just regurgitate someone else's report.
