Dr. Daniel Fosmire, MD

Dr. Fosmire explained each step of the nerve testing very well, took a lot of time to do so, and clearly explained treatment options. He is very knowledgeable and highly recommended.

I went into my visit very nervous about my procedure, but Doctor Fosmire proved to be the best doctor I have ever had the pleasure of interacting with. I cannot describe how much he put my nerves at ease. He told me what he was doing, how he was doing it, where it would hurt, why it would hurt, EVERYTHING. I had zero worry while he was doing the procedure. He answered every single question with absolute confidence. He was clearly enormously invested in my health, and he listened carefully to everything I said, even taking notes for himself. I seriously cannot recommend Dr. Fosmire enough. 5 stars!!!

Exceptional! I went into Dr. Fosmire for numbness in my leg that persisted for several months. He performed multiple nerve and muscle tests, while explaining everything along the way. He even photocopied and highlighted pages from a medical book for me to take home that described his diagnosis. He has a great bed-side manner and is clearly an expert in his field. Highly recommended!

I am so fortunate to have been referred to this physician by one of my other excellent physicians. He listens. He is very intelligent, caring, patient, gentle, thorough and he explained not only what he was doing, but also the questions I had about where my complicated issues are. He showed me a picture of the spine nerves like I had never seen before and so much made sense. The staff is friendly and caring as well, and they and the MRI scheduling team speak very highly of him. I highly recommend Dr. Fosmire. My husband was at my appointment with me, and he also liked him very much and said he trusts him with my care, and he would trust him with his.

He is THE BEST! Thorough, knowledgeable, compassionate, helpful! Dr. Fosmire is the only physician that has given me relief for my migraines, which I suffered with and saw many a physician for over forty years. I live in Alaska, but fly to WA. to see him. He is WORTH the trip!

After seeing several neurologist to treat my seizures, I feel very fortunate to connect with Dr. Fosmire. Besides the essentials he always takes the time to discuss the my broader health needs. I wish all the care providers had the ability to make that personal connection during the limited time they can spend.

Migraine appointment--very thorough

Dr. Fosmire was very helpful, listened to all of my concerns, and had a great attitude!

I saw Dr. Fosmire once, following a series of 3 ER visits for extremely distressing neurological symptoms. I felt he was dismissive of my perceptions of the severity and nature of these symptoms and was viewing me as being a "nut case." Imaging showed spinal compression and two ruptured discs in my neck, which he ruled out as the cause of my symptoms; however, 2nd opinion by a neurosurgeon led to a cervical discectomy/fusion surgery, resolving both the symptoms and my "hypochondriasis."

Very knowledgeable and did a thorough exam. Did an excellent job of explaining my condition and the impact is was having and will have. He preformed the EMG himself, usually a tech does this, and did and explained his findings as he preformed the test. I feel very confident in his knowledge and his empathy to the patient.

Had an exam by Dr. Fosmire today he was amazing. He took the time to ask many questions and went over my MRI extensively and then I had a very thorough exam. He then left and after a few minutes he printed out plan of action for me, went over everything again to make sure I understood everything. He made sure every question I had was answered thoroughly. Such a great professional Dr. I would highly recommend. I left his office wishing all my doctors had such a great attitude and helpful.

He is not sympathetic and not caring for his patient. I had you wait two months for the appointment and when it came I cut off my traveling vacation and came to town just to see him, yet when I arrived few minutes late he refused to see me not considering that I left my family behind and booked a ticket just to make it to the appointment. I don't recommend his clinic.

Dr. Fosmire seemed to diagnose me solely based on the recommended diagnosis by the physical therapist I was working with. He prescribed a medication that did not work, when I attempted to make another appointment with him, I was told, He doesn't do follow ups. I explained the medication wasn't working, the nurse called me back with a new prescription. I said I wanted to try something else first because I'd heard about many horrible side effects from that one, he and nurse got upset!!
