He truly listened to all the concerns we had and gave us advise about these issues. I was very sad he left. He was a great doctor.

My son who just got out of Mary Fee Bed in Grand Rapids was sent home with no pain medication the hospital told him that the primary care doctor would be prescribing that for him and set an appointment with Farrells office for him. My son broke his neck in 2 places and is paralyzed from the chest down and in severe pain. When he got to Farrell's office this morning the doctor told my son and his wife that he didn't have time to look over his chart then touched my sons arm and shoulder and proceeded to tell him its fibromyalgia causing him pain that he will not prescribe him anything for pain. He could plainly see my son's condition and knows that hes in severe pain yet is denying to give him anything to help ease the pain! Unfit to be called a doctor! This is so Inhumane and barbaric

I found him to be very attentive to my needs. He listened, asked appropriate questions, spent time with me, had a through check-up, and I left his office feeling I made the right move in leaving my previous physician. When I made the decision to move to another doctor, I checked to find a new internist and he came highly recommended.

My first visit with Dr. Farrell was more than unpleasant. It seemed as if he was judging me about the medications I’ve been on for years, the fact I was a younger male, and didn’t want to listen to what I had to say. He also asked if I was having any issues lately and I mentioned that I have been dealing with depression and wanted to know what he could do or if I could be referred to a therapist and he did not get back to me. Depression is not something a dr should take likely. I can honesty say it was the most unwanted welcome I have ever had and I will be getting a new Dr as soon as possible. Just absolutely made me feel even worse about myself and just the way he was talking to me was like I was less of a person to him.

Very rude man. Thought he knew more than all of my specialists. Argumentative from the time he walked into the room. Would not listen to anything I said. Disputed all of the previously diagnosis from other physicians. Cancelled tests that one of my other doctors ordered without my knowledge. I left his office feeling terrible about myself. I would NEVER recommend him.
