WATCH OUT!!
Waiting time was 2 HOURS!!He REFUSED to give my daughter a neurologist referral after giving her a diagnosis of MS after she wanted a second opinion! Prideful individual who is too old to be practicing medicine since he is not looking to help his patients.

While Dr Eichenbaum may be a good doctor, his office is run very poorly. I had an appt which I made 6+ mo ago and when I checked in there was a sign saying to plan on being there 2-4 hr. and the waiting rm was full. I may be retired but I don’t have 4 hours to sit around when I had an appointed time to be there. Why did his scheduler give me that time if it doesn’t mean anything? Why not just schedule everyone for the day at 9. And why didn’t they bother to let patients know of this unreasonable wait time when they confirmed my appt time? Apparently this is a standing problem in this office as the wait time sign was laminated.

I couldn't be happier or more impressed with Dr. Eichenbaum! We were a long way from home (Las Vegas) and my wife needed urgent eye care from a cornea specialist for an aggressive ulcer that caused her to lose her vision in one eye. We left a message for Dr. Eichenbaum after hours on his home phone. He called us back and gave her a thorough phone consultation and then squeezed her into see him in the office on short notice. We were shocked to find such a qualified (Yale Medical School!) and experienced ophthalmologist in a rural area. He was highly competent and took plenty of time to discuss my wife's concerns. We appreciated his warm bedside manor and candor in prescribing a course of treatment. His willingness to return our phone call on a weekend and make arrangements to see him saved our trip. I'm sure he doesn't need to work at this stage of his career; it's obvious he still does because he loves the work and wants to continue to help people. This part of the world is lucky

Very unprofessional. THREEof the Office there never wore a mask. The person who took my temperature did not wear a mask. Two other workers had on a mask but had them pulled down to their chin. Leaving their nose and mouth exposed. I walked out when the one worker who didnt wear a mask calls out to the others that Danica tested negative. She was referring to a worker who was not there. Her covid test results. I heard her say way this twice. I walked out. I called them and told them that i left because no one way wearing a mask and i felt uncomfortable. They responded nonchalantly with okay i will let them know. Very scary experience. I wear a mask. I have been to other doctors offices and theyfollowed covid procedures. This place does not.

Dr Eichenbaum did my cataracts about 3 years ago. Bad shape, I could not read a street sign at 40 ft. The difference was instant and dramatic. I continue to see like a raptor. He is skilled, takes insurance, and schedules promptly. His surgical staff and anesthetist are excellent and patient centered. He is all business , so don't be expecting to be cuddled!

Had cataract surgery and had an optic nerve stroke during surgery. Ignored me and never told me the truth. 2 year and numerous neuro opthamologists later , no way eichenbaum didn’t know this happened . Very dangerous . Do not go to this dr. I was warned and didn’t listen. The damage for me is permanent. DO NOT RISK YOUR EYE SIGHT .

The office is very poorly run. They over schedule and make patients wait over 2 hours before they ever see the doctor. When asked how far behind schedule they are (so you can estimate how long you will be waiting) the office staff is rude and not helpful. Dr. Eichenbaum may be in high demand in this small town but that doesn't give him the right to disrespect the time of the people he has waiting for over 2 hours because his office staff is poor at scheduling.
